Members of the media will be supplied with media guides and weekly releases with statistics from each participating team. On match days, the communications staff will distribute immediate results, statistics, scores from other NCAA sub-regional matches and other pertinent information. Pre-tournament notes along with post-match notes and quotes from the press conferences will also be distributed. To be included on the e-mail list to receive results, notes and quotes, please e-mail Amanda Brooks. Results also will be posted at www.gatorzone.com.
Members of the media (reporters and photographers) must submit their requests for credentials to John Thomas by e-mail or fax (352-375-4809) in the Florida Communications Office no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27. Press and photo credentials will be assigned to working press according to NCAA guidelines. Please include the NAME and OUTLET of the person who will be issued the credentials. Credentials may be claimed at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center’s Will Call Window the day of the competition.
The media for this event will be stationed along press row in the O’Connell Center with assigned seating. The Martial Arts Room in the O’Connell Center will serve as the media workroom and the press conference area. Wireless internet will be available throughout the building. Should you have any specific needs, please inform Brooks.
Space automatically will be reserved for each participating institution’s home radio station as designated by the institution. All other stations in that institution’s area will be served on a first-come, first-serve basis in accordance with the priority established by the NCAA radio policy. All commercial stations must pay a rights fee. For more information, contact Brooks.
