- Marshall Brock
Marshall Brock, a Winter Springs native who has an extensive playing background in all levels of the game, enters his first season as a volunteer assistant coach at Florida.
Brock is no stranger to the Gators, having served as a practice player under Florida head coach Mary Wise and the Gator volleyball team for the last four years. Brock was a four-year starter for the men’s club team at Florida and recently joined the Florida Wave, a men’s professional volleyball team that plays in the Premier Volleyball League. In 2013, Florida Wave captured both the Men’s PVL National Championship as well as the Men’s US Open National Championship, defeating a team comprised of several U.S. Olympians in the process.
While a member of the club team at Florida, Brock played an integral role with the Gator men, finishing as the NIRSA Men’s Club National runner-up in 2010. Brock was a letterwinner in both volleyball and basketball at Winter Springs High School, where he graduated in 2009. He played for the Orlando Gold Volleyball Club from 2006-09 and was a member of the USAV High Performance program in 2007 and 2008, representing the state of Florida.
Brock is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Florida and will graduate in spring 2014. He currently resides in Gainesville.
