As a Junior (2012)

Mann, a 2012 AVCA First Team All-America selection as well as First Team VBM All-America and the SEC Player of the Year, topped the Gators with an NCAA-leading .444 hitting percentage, putting down 380 kills on the year … Mann led Florida with 1.15 blocks/set, good for third in the SEC … For her career, the junior middle blocker has 532 kills on a .455 hitting clip and is on track to break Florida’s career hitting percentage record by the end of her senior season … She is a two-time SEC Offensive Player of the Week selection, once in both 2011 and 2012 … She was named Preseason All-SEC by the league’s coaches this fall and was MVP of the Campus USA Credit Union Invitational earlier in the season … Mann was also a 2012 CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District® honoree … The Gainesville native gives the Florida program its seventh Volleyball Magazine First Team All-America recognition and she is the sixth Gator in history to receive VBM First Team All-America honors … Mann is the third Gator middle blocker to be named First Team All-America, joining Nina Foster (1997) and Aycan Gokberk (1994) … Hit .500 with 14 kills in the NCAA regional semifinal against eventual national champion Texas … Led the Gators with 10 kills in Florida’s 3-0 sweep of College of Charleston in the NCAA Second Round...Registered a team-high 14.0 points (10 kills, six blocks) in UF’s 3-0 victory over Tulsa in NCAA First Round action...Posted 10 kills with a .471 hitting percentage with an assist and five blocks in the regular-season finale against Georgia...Led all hitters with a .560 hitting clip in the Gators’ victory at Auburn, turning in 14 errorless kills on 25 swings to go along with a career-high eight blocks...Posted 12 kills and a block in UF’s 3-0 sweep of South Carolina to capture SEC title outright...Tied her career high with seven blocks, adding eight kills in Florida’s SEC-clinching win over LSU...Posted seven kills and two blocks in a win over Ole Miss...Tallied nine kills and three blocks in Florida’s 3-0 sweep at Missouri...Had 18 kills and a team-high .567 hitting percentage with a dig and five blocks against Tennessee...Put up a match-high 14 kills on .619 hitting in the Gators’ 3-0 sweep of Georgia...Held a .727 hitting percentage with eight kills and four blocks in a win over Mississippi State...Added 10 kills with four blocks and a dig against No. 12 Florida State...Provided another spectacular performance against Texas A&M, leading the team with 19 kills and six blocks...Turned in one of her best performances of the season, hitting .750 with 13 kills on 16 swings at Alabama...Had a career-performance in a win over Auburn where she recorded 20 kills and tied a career-high with seven blocks...Registered six kills on eight swings (.750) in just two sets in Florida’s sweep of Ole Miss, adding three blocks...Recorded a .409 hitting percentage with 11 kills, two digs and six blocks in a come-from-behind win against Kentucky...Tallied 11 kills and a season-high six blocks in Florida’s sweep of Arkansas... Had a strong weekend on the attack against South Carolina and Mississippi State...Against the Bulldogs, had six kills on eight attempts for a .625 hitting percentage along with two blocks...Notched a career high of 20 kills with just two hitting errors and 22 points against the Gamecocks and also added four blocks and a dig...Hit .348 with 12 kills against Missouri while chipping in three blocks...Hit a season-high .579 against No. 24 Kentucky in opening weekend of SEC play...Recorded a team-high 12 kills against the Wildcats along with three blocks...Had 13 kills against Arkansas and added five blocks in the win....Recorded double-digit kills against Louisiana (10) and Georgia Tech (11) at the Active Ankle Challenge...Had a season-high six blocks against Georgia Tech....Had a tournament-best hitting percentage against Louisiana (.533)...Had a team-high 15 kills and one block against No. 9 Stanford at the Nike Big Four...Hit .394 against No. 2 Texas with 16 kills, two digs  and two blocks...Led the Gators in opening weekend at the Campus USA Invitational as she earned MVP honors...Exploded in the season opener against FIU with a .545 hitting percentage with 15 kills and put down two blocks...Had a weekend-high 16 kills against FGCU while recording three blocks...Hit .381 with 11 kills against FAMU and notched two blocks and two digs.

 

As a Sophomore (2011)

Saw action in 27 matches in 2011, starting 14 ... Led the SEC with a .500 attack efficiency on the season, striking 145 kills in 262 swings with just 14 errors ... Hit .429 with 11 kills, three blocks, and scored 13 points in the NCAA Regional Final  versus  #3 Illinois … Had eight kills, two blocks, and a dig against Michigan in the NCAA Regional Semifinal victory … Ranks fourth on the team with 67 total blocks, averaging 0.96 per set ... Registered six blocks and five kills at #6 seed UNI in the NCAA Second Round ... Notched 11 kills and three blocks against Missouri in the NCAA First Round ... Had seven kills in 11 swings to hit .636 against South Carolina with a match-high three blocks ... Recorded five kills and five blocks against Auburn ... Posted nine kills on 11 swings with no errors for an .818 hitting clip against Georgia ... Named SEC Offensive Player of the Week for her performances at LSU and Arkansas … Followed her record-making performance with a career-high 19 kills and 21.5 points at Arkansas, hitting .417 with six digs, five blocks and her first assist of the season ... Made SEC and NCAA history on the road at LSU, hitting a remarkable .900 with 18 kills on 20 swings, the second-highest hitting percentage in NCAA history (min. 20 attacks), adding five blocks on the evening for a career-high 20.5 points ... Went errorless with a match-leading eight kills and six blocks against Ole Miss ... Started against Alabama, posting six kills, four blocks and three digs ... Had a career match in her start at No. 24 Kentucky, recording 10 kills, seven digs, seven blocks and 14.5 points, all career highs, while leading the Gators with a .455 clip and no errors ... Came off the bench on the road at No. 20 Tennessee, registering two kills and a block ... Saw action against Mississippi State ... Had two kills in two attempts at South Carolina, while adding a block ... Saw action off the bench against Alabama, contributing a kill and a block ... Had a kill in her only attempt in two sets vs. LSU ... Came off the bench against Kentucky … Saw action in the Nike Big Four Classic, coming off the bench against No. 10 Texas and No. 3 Stanford … Started against No. 19 Cyclones … Started the first match of her career against Clemson, tripling her career high in kills with nine, had a career-high five blocks and tied tournament MVP Kristy Jaeckel for a match-high of 12 points, also a career high for Mann … Was errorless against Clemson, hitting at a .818 clip and never committed an error throughout the Campus USA Invite, hitting .682 … SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.

 

As a Redshirt Freshman (2010)

Played in 16 sets and 12 matches her redshirt freshman season at the middle blocker position … Saw first career NCAA Tournament action against South Carolina State (12/3), charting a block in that match … Had two kills and a block assist against Albany (9/3) for a career-high 2.5 total points … SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll.

 

As a Freshman (2009)

Prior to Florida

One of the most decorated scholar-athletes to have ever joined the Florida volleyball program … Enters UF with enough college credits earned through Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate programs to nearly have earned academic status as a junior …  The 2009 Gainesville Sun Scholar-Athlete of the Year and the Jeffrey Meldon/WCJB TV-20 Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2009 … Graduated from Eastside with a 4.8 grade point average (weighted)/3.92 unweighted … The Gainesville Sun’s Class 4A-6A Player of the Year for 2008 … Named to Volleyball Magazine’s Girls Fab 50 … A 2007 third-team All-State selection by the Florida Sportswriters Association … Helped lead Eastside to its first two appearances in the FHSAA Class 5A regional in program history … The Rams won back-to-back District 4-5A titles … High school team compiled a 50-10 record (.833) over the past two seasons with Mann in a starting role … In her senior year of high school, finished with 511 kills, 141 blocks and 12 aces … Recorded a career-high 34 kills in the district championship match this past year … Helped her Gainesville Juniors club team advance to the Junior Olympics in 2008… Did not begin playing volleyball until her freshman year of high school … The sixth volleyball player from the Gainesville area to sign with the Gators since the 2000 season … Was a member of the National Honor Society, French Honor Society, Student Government and Key Club in high school.
