Returning to her alma mater, Connie Andrews begins her first season as the Florida volleyball team’s athletic trainer.
The Gainesville native served as a graduate assistant trainer at the University of Alabama prior to joining the UF staff. While with the Crimson Tide, she worked with the Alabama men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams.
Andrews graduated from Florida in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in applied physiology and kinesiology with a concentration in athletic training. During her undergraduate years, she served as a student athletic trainer for a variety of sports and venues, including a full season with the Gator gymnastics team. She also assisted with the soccer program’s summer sessions and provided services at local rehabilitation clinics.
