Jerilyn Hattendorf was a two-year starter in the Gator lineup...Served as a mainstay as the second outside hitter and as a defensive specialist throughout her career...Had a career season as a junior after recovering from arthroscopic surgery, which she received in January 1999, to repair a partially torn rotator cuff in her right shoulder...A solid passer and a smart, consistent and mature player...Left a legacy as a model student-athlete and a player who was willing to make personal sacrifices for the good of the team.

Career Highlights: Finished her career sixth all-time in digs at UF with 954...Played in 424 games, which is also sixth all-time, and 139 matches, good for eighth in the record book.

Career Honors: SEC All-Tournament Team (1999)...Three-time SEC Academic Honor Roll student (1998-2000)...InnTowner Invitational (at Wisconsin, 1999) and University Centre Hotel Invitational (1999) all-tournament teams.

As a Senior (2000): The most solid passer for UF...Began the season as UF's primary outside hitter, but is needed more for her back row play and experience...Finished ninth in the SEC with 0.33 aces per game...Averaged 2.37 kills per game in the front row...Was the only senior on the court this season...Had two double-doubles on the year...Is seventh all-time with 941 career digs...Finished second on the team in digs (273)...Third on team team with 12 matches in double-digit digs...Served up a season-high three aces in back-to-back matches at Kentucky and Tennessee...Posted season-high with 19 digs vs. Penn State in the State Farm Classic.

As a Junior (1999): Led team in digs in 12 matches...Double-digit kills in 10 matches, double-digit digs in 13 matches...Six double-doubles on the year...Named to the SEC All-Tournament team after averaging 2.40 kills per game and a .308 hitting efficiency...Was second on the squad with 2.60 digs per game throughout the tournament... Recorded a career-high 13 kills against No. 21 Arkansas in the SEC opener...Also added 10 digs and four blocks in that match...Hit .440 with 11 kills and no errors on 25 attempts against Iowa State...Added a double-double the next day against No. 9 UC Santa Barbara (11 kills, 13 digs) to be named to the University Centre Hotel All-Tournament Team...Tied her career-high 12 kills and set personal-best .588 hitting efficiency against No. 13 Wisconsin...Named to the Wisconsin InnTowner Invitational All-Tournament Team for that effort... Recorded a career-high 25 digs against NACWAA Champion No. 6 Pacific...Set a career-high with 12 kills against No. 1 Penn State and also tied her then-career-high 15 digs in that 3-2 win at the NACWAA Volleyball Classic.

As a Sophomore (1998): Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll and the College of Business Dean's List...Career-highed in every statistical category while playing with a partially torn rotator cuff...Worked her way into the starting rotation...Posted three double-doubles on the season...Served up a career-high four aces in the NCAA East Region final against No. 6 Hawai'i... Contributed nine kills and a career-high 15 digs in the SEC Tournament final at No. 13 Arkansas...Tied that high in digs against No. 10 Southern California in the NCAA East Region semifinal...Captured a career-high six block assists against Tennessee...Had career-highs of 11 kills and 15 digs for a double-double against No. 14 Arkansas... Recorded her first career double-double with then career-highs of 11 kills and 13 digs...Grabbed a then-season-high six digs against No. 11 Texas.

As a Freshman (1997): Saw action in 33 matches, primarily as a defensive player... Averaged 1.26 digs per game...Racked up career-highs of seven kills and 11 digs vs. Mississippi...Recorded eight digs vs. both No. 3 Long Beach State and No. 10 Brigham Young and six digs vs. No. 17 Pacific...Posted five kills and nine digs vs. Virginia Tech...Also recorded a career-high seven kills vs. LSU and Tennessee.

Prior to Florida: 1997 and 1995 USA Volleyball All-American...Helped club team win the 1997 and 1995 Junior National titles...Member of the 1996 USA Youth National Team...Named to Volleyball magazine's Fab 50, listing the top 50 high school players in the nation...Earned MVP honors at the 1995 SCVA J.O. Qualifier...1995 and 1996 all-state selection..Three-time all-conference and academic all-conference team member...1996 Beacon News Player of the Year...Voted MVP of St. Charles High School team in 1995 and 1996...High school record holder for career kills, kills in a season and blocks in a season...Member of the National Honor Society...Received St. Charles Academic Award...Was a 1997 Chicago Tribune Scholar-Athlete.
