Came to Florida as a transfer from Michigan State where she was a member of the 1995 NCAA National Semifinal squad...Standing 6-4, she is the tallest Gator player ever...Trained with new teammate Kris Bova on the U.S. Pan-American Games training team this past summer...Brings an elite level of playing experience and solid blocking skills...Played right side most recently at MSU and trained on the left side this summer...A player who was ready to step in where ever needed...But, fit best into Florida’s system at outside hitter.

As a redshirt senior (1999): Voted to the AVCA All-District IV Team...First-team All-SEC Player...The SEC Tournament MVP...Was the only Gator to record double-digit kills in all three matches and led with two double-doubles throughout that event... A much improved server...Finished second in SEC in with 0.53 SA/game...Doubled her stats from each previous season except assists and blocks...Recorded double-digit kills in 23 matches, including a team-high mark of five with 20 or more...Came up with a career-high 28 kills in the NCAA Second Round win over Illinois...Had 10 double-doubles and 13 matches in double-digit digs...Had a double-double vs. Alabama with 12 kills and 10 digs while adding a match-high five blocks (1 solo, 4 assists)...Season-high .533 hitting efficiency (9-1-15) against Ole Miss...Tied her season-high two block solos in a sweep at Florida State...Notched 16 kills against No. 21 Arkansas in the SEC opener...Had her fourth 20-plus kill match against No. 9 UCSB...Tallied 22 kills, 11 digs and a season-high two block solos in that match...Was named to the University Centre Hotel Invitational All-Tournament Team after that effort...Named to SunTrust All-Tournament Team...Career-highed in both nights of the NACWAA Volleyball Classic...Had 27 kills and 16 digs (both career-bests) against No. 6 Pacific, and 25 kills and 16 digs against No. 1 Penn State...Also averaged 0.9 bpg in that tournament.

At Michigan State

Career: Finished eighth all-time on the Spartans’ block assists chart with 219 and eighth all-time in total blocks with 258 (39 BS, 219 BA)...received bachelor’s degree in kinesiology.

As a Senior (1998): Tri-captain who helped lead the Spartans to an NCAA Tournament berth and a third-place Big Ten Conference finish...was third with 0.97 blocks per game on a team that finished fifth nationally with 3.65 blocks per game...recorded double-digit kills in one third of the matches, including an 11-kill performance against eventual National Runner-up and conference-foe Penn State...set a career-high 15 kills vs. No. 21 Ohio State and tied it against Indiana...had a career-high 45 attempts in a five-game loss at Louisville...finished fourth on the squad with 2.57 kills per game and a .242 hitting efficiency.

As a Junior (1997): Averaged 2.08 kills and 1.19 blocks per game through 14 matches..had a season-high 12 kills and eight blocks against Duquesne...also racked up eight roofs at Kentucky...season was cut short by a broken fibula in October.

As a Sophomore (1996): Appeared in 32 matches and 100 games in her first season of play...was second on the team with a .294 hitting percentage...led the squad with 1.28 blocks per game, which ranked sixth in the Big Ten...tallied 128 blocks to rank 10th on the single-season chart...112 block assists were good for eighth on the seasonal list...hit .300 or better in 18 matches...hit career-high .692 with 10 kills in a road win over Wisconsin...hit .615 (8-0-13) in regional final loss to the Gators...averaged 1.55 kills and 2.64 blocks per game in three NCAA Tournament matches...10 block assists in win over Texas A&M tied for third on single-match chart...11 (3 BS, 8 BA) total blocks versus Long Beach State tied for fifth on single-match chart.

As a freshman (1995): Had arthroscopic surgery on right shoulder to reduce a congenital impingement and received a medical redshirt...was an Olympic Festival finalist.

Prior to Michigan State: Four-year letterwinner...four-time all-area, all-conference and all-state selection...hit .440 and had more than 300 kills, 180 blocks and 145 digs as a senior...two-year team captain...three-time track and basketball letterwinner...played for Michigan Dead Frogs in 1995...earned first-team AAU All-America and second-team USVBA All-America honors in 1994 in club ball...also played with the Spikers in 1991.

Personal: Born March 7, 1977...enjoys music, dancing, reading and puzzles...has two brothers and two sisters...uncle played football, track and basketball at Michigan State in 1955-58...roommates with Student Assistant Coach Jeni Jones...favorite sports figure is Michael Jordan...best vacation was a Spring Break trip to Aruba in 1999...would like to pursue a career in sports broadcasting or public relations...favorite food is beef stroganoff and Chinese food...favorite movies are "Tommy Boy" and "Breakfast Club"...can’t do without candy on road trips.
