Competed in 14 meets as a sophomore, seven both indoors and outdoors … Finished third in both the 100 meters and 200 meters at the SEC Outdoor Championships, logging her personal best of 11.30 in the women’s 100 meters at the SEC meet…Ran 23.03 in the women’s 200 meters at the Pepsi Florida Relays, registering a personal best in the event…First Gator to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in both the 100 and 200 since 20-time All-American Kisha Jett (1994-98).

2011:

Participated in 12 meets as a true freshman, including the SEC Indoor Championships, SEC Outdoor Championships and NCAA Outdoor Championships … Had a collegiate-best 7.43 in the 60m at the Tyson Invitational … Ran a career-best 11.53 (+1.0) in the 100m dash preliminary at the NCAA East Preliminary Round, finishing second in her heat … Logged a career-best time of 23.59 (+1.2) in the preliminaries of the 200m dash at the 2011 NCAA Outdoor Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL/PREP:

Competed at Everglades High School in Mirimar, Fla. … Placed second at the 2010 FHSAA Class 4A State meet in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes … Has recorded personal-best marks of 11.61 (100m), 24.03 (200m) and 55.9 (4x400m split). Was the Sun-Sentinel’s Broward girls track athlete of the year.
