HIGH SCHOOL/PREP: Recorded personal-best times of 5:01.91 (1,600m), 18:30.61 (three mile) and 18:59.60 (5,000m) … Placed sixth at the 2011 FSHAA Class 2A State Championships in the 1,600m and was seventh overall in the 800m at that event … 2009 Miami Herald’s High School Athlete of the Year … Holds the school record in the 800m (2:19), mile (5:01.91) and 5K in cross country (18:59.60) and went undefeated against Broward County competition in the 1,600m since her sophomore season, winning three consecutive district crowns.
