HIGH SCHOOL/PREP: Coached by David Howells … Took home three gold medals at the state championships for the 3K, 800m and 1,500m four consecutive years (2004-07) … Won gold at nationals in the 3K in 2004 and 2006 … Placed third in the 1,500m at the 2004 and 2006 Nationals … Holds four regional records for 3K, 800m, 1,500m and 2K steeplechase … Queensland state team won the national triathlon title in 2007 and AMS Triathlon Club was runner-up for the state title in 2005 … Also played touch football … State team won the national title in 2006 and Cobra club team took the title in 2007 … Captured the Player of the Tournament and State Finals in 2006 and 2007 … Won John Paul College’s Bradley Cup, given the best all-around athlete four years in a row (2004-07) … Most memorable moment of athletic career was placing sixth individually and having her team take fourth at the Cross Country World Schools’ Championship in Rioccione, Italy, in 2006.
