1999 CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in one meet... Was kept out of the lineup for much of the season due to lower back pain... Earned her first top-10 finish at the Nike Twi-Light, setting a new personal best of fifth in 18:56.47.

1999 AS A SOPHOMORE: Bests of 4:50.67 (1500m) and 10:48.84 in the 3000m... 11th in the Florida Relays 1500m, 4:50.67 - Personal Best... Did not compete indoors.

1998 AS A FRESHMAN: Bests of 4:50.70 (1500m) and 10:58.68 (3000m).

PRIOR TO FLORIDA: As a sophomore in high school, placed second in the two mile at the Florida Relays in a time of 11:16...Placed second in the 3,000 meters and fourth in the 1,500m at the USA Track and Field Nationals in Louisiana in 1993...Holds the Florida state record in the 3,000m.

PERSONAL: Born March 6, 1979...Parents are David and Barbara Burcham...Has a brother Sean who is 15 years old... ... Member of the National Honors Society, the Varsity Club... Graduated cum laude... Also considered Oklahoma and UCF.
