Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll... 11th in the NCAA Indoor Championships as part of the Distance Medley Relay squad (1200m leg with Evans, Grizzle and Merten)... Third in the SEC Indoor Championships 800m, 2:08.25- Indoor Personal Best... Member of two provisionally qualified 4x400m relay squads from the SEC Quad (3:40.78) and the Penn State Qualifier (3:36.82b); and also a member of two provisionally qualified Distance Medley Relay teams from the SEC Quad (11:25.70) and the Penn State Qualifier (11:20.48b).

Penn Relays champion in the Championships 4x800m Relay (Leadoff leg with Grizzle, Merten and Clark), 8:24.65 - 1999 World's Best... Seventh in the SEC Indoor Championships 800m, 2:12.61... Earned her first collegiate victory in the ACC-SEC Challenge 800m.

1999 Wins (3): (i) ACC-SEC Challenge (1/30) 800: 2:10.75; (o): UCLA Dual (4/3) 800m: 2:08.68; Penn Relays (3/22) 4x800m (1): 8:24.65.

PRIOR TO FLORIDA: A four-time Athlete-of-the-Year at Pope High under coach Bob Sheskey... Helped lead Pope to four state cross country titles and one state track title...Already has personal bests of 5:00 in the mile and 2:10 in the 800... Also lettered in basketball... Lists her most outstanding athletic performance as scoring a season high 38 points against Marietta High.

PERSONAL: Born October 26, 1979...Parents are Kenneth and Beverly Allen... Named Homecoming Queen at Pope High and earned Youth Leadership Award... Career ambition is to be an Athletics Director... Also considered Texas, Villanova, South Carolina and Florida State.
