Seventh in the SEC Indoor Championships Pole Vault, 10-8...Took first place in the pole vault at the LSU Seven-Way Meet (11-1.75)...Won the first pole vault competition in UF history at the first collegiate meet of her career with a NCAA provisional qualifying and personal-best mark of 11-5 at the Florida Invitational.

PERSONAL: Born November 19,1979... Father, Tom Adams, is the former Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of State in the state of Florida; he also served in the House of Representatives... Mother is Fran Adams... Attended Arkansas State during the 1998-99 school year and trained with Bell Athletics in Jonesboro, Ark., during that time, working with Earl Bell, a three-time Olympian and bronze medalist... Worked as a physical therapy technician at the Regional Medical Center at Northeast Arkansas as well... Family lives on a farm where they raise beef cattle... 1997 graduate of Sebastian River High School... Member of National Honor Society and Future Business Leaders... Also senior class president.
