2014: Had a breakout sophomore season with the Gators…A two-time All-American in the 800m, once indoors and once outdoors…Qualified for both the NCAA indoor and outdoor championships…Was the NCAA runner-up outdoors in the 800m (1:46.29) and finished fifth at the 2014 NCAA indoor championships (1:49.31)…Picked up All-SEC Second Team honors both indoors (DMR) and outdoors (800m)…Owns the third-fastest 800m in University of Florida history after his NCAA outdoors performance and also jumped onto UF’s all-time top-10 list at No. 7 (1:48.05) with his indoors win at the Razorback Invitational…Was on UF’s SEC runner-up DMR (9:41.66) for All-SEC Second Team honors indoors and finished third at SEC Outdoors in the 800m (1:48.08) for All-SEC Second Team honors outdoors…Advanced to NCAA Outdoors with his 13th-place finish at the NCAA East Preliminary in Jacksonville and went on to garner a NCAA runner-up finish at the finals site in Eugene.
2013: Advanced to the NCAA East Preliminary Round in the men’s 800 meters outdoors, crossing the finish in 1:50.28…Turned in collegiate bests of 48.93 (400m), 1:49.50 (800m) and 3:53.12 (1,500m)…Placed third as a member of the men’s DMR with a time of 9:52.03 at the SEC Indoor Championships…Claimed second with a time of 1:53.32 in the men’s 800m at the Crimson Tide Indoor Opener…Captured the men’s 800m title with a time of 1:51.42 at the Razorback Invitational…Placed eighth in the men’s 800m with a time of 1:51.47 at the Husky Classic.
HIGH SCHOOL/PREP: Competed at Charlotte High School in Port Charlotte, Fla….Last year, Schnulle was a member of the second-fastest 4x800 meter relay team in high school history and the fastest in Florida state history, placing second at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals. He was also second in the 800 and fourth in the 1600, leading the Tarpons to another FHSAA Class 3A State Championship. Schnulle, who is the 2011 Golden South 800 meter champion, holds personal bests of 1:52.50 (800), 4:15.71 (1600), 15.21.86 (XC) and 17.14.10 (5k).
