2012 AS A JUNIOR: Turned in a career best mark indoors at the Virginia Tech Elite Meet with his vault of 5.10m/16-8.75, coming in fifth overall Finished as high as third with his finish at the Tom Jones Invitational Competed in eight events on the season.
2011 AS A SOPHOMORE: Set a career-high pole vault mark at the NCAA East Preliminary Round with a jump of 5.15m/16-10.75 Finished eighth at the SEC Outdoor Championships Earned another top-three finish by clearing 5.11m/16-9.75 at the FSU Twilight meet Placed second at the UCF Invitational to open the 2011 outdoor season, clearing 4.65m/15-3.0 Set a career best indoors with a jump of 4.87m/15-11.75 at the 2011 SEC Indoor Championships Finished third at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational with a jump of 4.65m/15-3.0.
2010 AS A FRESHMAN: Captured his first career victory outdoors at the UCF Invitational with a jump of 4.72m/15-6.0, an outdoors season best Cleared an indoors season-best 4.35m/14-3.25 at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational.

Coached by Gary Droze at Maclay High School in Tallahassee Team finished as regional champions in 2007 and 2008 Won the FHSAA Class A state pole vault championship in 2006 and earned a runner-up finish in 2008 Was the Tallahassee city champion in the pole vault in 2007 and placed third at the state meet Lists his most memorable track and field moment as winning the city pole vault championship his junior year because he recorded a personal-best in the process and beat the guys he had competed with for the first time Personal best of 14-9 in the pole vault, achieved at the 2009 Pepsi Florida Relays.
