2011 AS A JUNIOR: Only competed outdoors in five meets, clearing a career high 2.20m/7-2.50 in the high jump at the Tom Jones Memorial, good for fifth all-time at Florida and earning him the first victory of his career … finished 14th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, clearing 2.14m/7-0.25 and earning second team All-America honors … Cleared 2.08m/6-9.75 at the Penn Relays Carnival and finished fifth at the SEC Outdoor Championships with a jump of 2.15m/7-0.50.

 

2010 AS A SOPHOMORE: Competed both indoors and outdoors as a sophomore … Jumped a career-best 2.14m/7-0.25 at the 2010 Virginia Tech Elite meet, finishing second to now-teammate Dwight Barbiasz … Cleared at least 2.10m/6-10.75 in all four indoor meets on the season, while taking fifth at the SEC Outdoor Championships with a jump of 2.05m/6-8.75 … Jumped an outdoors season-best 2.08m/6-9.75 at his first Penn Relays Carnival.

 

2009 AS A FRESHMAN: Participated in three meets for the Gators his rookie season (one indoor, two outdoor) … Placed third at the 2009 SEC Indoor Championships, despite it being just his first meet of the season, recording a leap of 2.11m/6-11 … Outdoor best came at the Seminole Twilight Invitational, notching a jump of 2.05m/6-8.75 … SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll.

 

HIGH SCHOOL/PREP: Third-team Class 4A all-state selection in football as a senior … Ended his senior season with 47 receptions for 898 yards and 10 touchdowns … Averaged almost 20 yards per catch (19.1) … Returned two punts for touchdowns … Hauled in seven catches for 95 yards during his junior year … Was a long-jumper for the Hallandale track and field team with a personal-best jump of 6-10 … Competed at the fifth IAAF World Youth Championships in Ostrava, Czech Republic, and the AAU Junior Olympics in Knoxville, Tenn. … Jumped 2.08m in the high jump to claim top honors at the AAU Junior Olympics … Four-star prospect by Rivals.com … Rated the 26th-best wideout on Rivals.com … Three-star recruit on Scout.com … Coached by Dameon Jones.
