2012: Competed in four meets outdoors in 2012, advancing to the NCAA East Preliminary Round in the men’s 3,000-meter steeplechase … Ran a career best 8:47.18 in Jacksonville at the NCAA East Preliminaries, just missing out on advancing to the finals site with his 13th-place finish … Finished third in the men’s 3,000-meter steeplechase at the 2012 Pepsi Florida Relays … Turned in a third-place finish at the SEC Outdoor Championships in the men’s 10,000 meters, finishing in a new PR of 30:05.19.

2011: Competed in four meets in 2011, taking home his first title in the men’s 5,000 meters at the 2011 Penn Relays with a PR of 14:25.95 … Competed at the 2011 SEC Indoor and Outdoor Championships in the 5,000 meters, while also finishing third in the men’s 10,000 meters at the SEC Outdoor Championships.
