2011 AS A SENIOR (JUNIOR INDOORS): SEC Indoor shot put champion, charting a school record of 19.53m/64-1 … Earned Second Team All-America honors by placing 11th in the NCAA Indoor Championships’ shot put competition (18.61m/61-0.75)

2010 AS A JUNIIOR (SOPHOMORE INDOORS): An All-America recipient in both the indoor and outdoor men’s shot put … Recorded the second-best men’s shot put toss in school history en route to a runner-up finish at the NCAA Indoor Championship … Charted a then-personal-best mark of 19.26m/63-2.25 … Became the first person in school history to win the men’s shot put championship at the Penn Relays Carnival.

2009 AS A SOPHOMORE (FRESHMAN INDOORS): Participated in the World University Games … Earned outdoor All-America honors, claiming a third-place finish in the shot put at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a personal-best toss (19.68m/64-7) … Finished third in the shot put at the NCAA East Regional (19.00m/62-4) … Third in the shot put at the SEC Outdoor Championships (18.83m/61-9.50) and seventh in the discus (50.74m/166-6) … Charted the ninth-best discus throw in school history (56.88m/186-7) in finishing second in the event at the Seminole Twilight Invitational … Became just the second person in school history to throw better than 64 feet in the men’s shot put, finishing second in that event (19.52m/64-0.50) … Won his first outdoor meet of the season, capturing the shot put at the Pepsi Florida Relays (19.43m/63-9) … Named the SEC Male Field Athlete of the Week after the Florida Relays … Placed fifth at the NCAA Indoor Championships in the shot put with a collegiate-best mark (19.10m/62-8) … Was the top-finishing underclassmen at that event, moving into sole possession of fourth-place on the school’s all-time indoor shot put list … Second in the shot put at the Virginia Tech Qualifier (18.76m/61-6.75) … Sat out much of the indoor season with an injury before posting a third-place finish in the shot put at the SEC Indoor Championships (18.15m/59-6.75) … Turned in a then-personal-best indoor shot put mark in his first collegiate meet, the Kentucky Invitational (18.91m/62-0.50).
