2011 AS A JUNIOR: Had his finest season as a Gator, earning two All-America honors and two SEC titles Captured SEC titles both indoors and outdoors, claiming the 2011 SEC Indoor Championships heptathlon title (5,816) and the 2011 SEC Outdoor Championships decathlon title (7,828) Had his best performances of the season on the grandest stage in college track, finishing fourth in the heptathlon at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a career-best and school record 5,890 points Captured fifth at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a career-best and school record 7,914 points Took home the Mt. SAC Relays decathlon title (7,791) Won the heptathlon at the Texas A&M Challenge with a score of 5,747.
2010 AS A SOPHOMORE: Captured the SEC Decathlon Championship for the second consecutive year (7,652), good for second-best in school history Finished third at the Mt. SAC Relays (7,566), a career best at the time Finished 15th at the 2010 NCAA Outdoor Championships (7,262) Finished no lower than second during the 2010 indoor season, capturing second in the heptathlon at the Texas A&M Challenge (5,538) and the SEC Indoor Championships (5,653) His 5,653 at SEC Outdoors was a career best at the time and was second in UF history.
2009 AS A FRESHMAN: Turned in one of the finest freshman seasons in school history, becoming the first person in school history to win a Southeastern Conference decathlon title Earned All-America honors at the 2009 NCAA Outdoor Championships, placing 11th (7,490) and shattering his own freshman school record Broke the school freshman decathlon record en route to winning the SEC Outdoor Championships (7,389) Finished seventh at the prestigious Texas Relays (7,067) in his first collegiate decathlon Placed second at the 2009 SEC Indoor Championships in the heptathlon (5,586), recording five event personal-bests along the way Finished third in his first collegiate heptathlon at the SEC/Big 12 Showdown with a score of 5,384.
