2012: Second Team All-America indoors in the men’s 800 meters … Second team All-Southeastern Conference indoors in the men’s 800 meters … Only Gator distance athlete to compete on the men’s side at the NCAA Indoor Championships … Ran a career best 1:47.22 at the Texas A&M Challenge … Did not compete outdoors.

2011: Ran anchor leg indoors and third leg outdoors at NCAA Championships to earn All-America honors for 4x400m relay … Earned All-America second team honors by placing 16th in NCAA Outdoor 800m (1:48.14) … Ran a season’s best 1:47.73 at the Tom Jones Invitational in the 800 meters.

2010: Competed in six meets outdoors in 2010, winning his first competition as a Gator with his 1:51.96 finish at the UCF Black & Gold Challenge … Finished third in the 800 meters at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational with his season’s best time of 1:50.68 … Did not compete indoors.

HIGH SCHOOL/PREP: Coached by Wes Newton at Wharton High School … Bests of 1:53.12 (800m), 3:18.56 (4x400m) and 7:47.56 (4x800m) … Broke his school record in the 800-meter run and helped break the school’s 4x800m relay record five times in the same season … Placed 12^th at the Nike Outdoor Nationals … Won the state championship in the 800m and the 4x800m his senior season … Went undefeated in the open 800-meter run his senior year.
