2012 AS A REDSHIRT JUNIOR: Captured the first title of his career at the Pepsi Florida Relays, taking the top spot in the men’s 5,000 meters with his time of 14:02.57, a career best by nearly 23 seconds … Competed in seven meets on the year, turning in a third-place finish at the SEC Indoor Championships in the men’s 3,000 meters with his time of 8:25.54 … Ran a personal best of 8:19.40 at the Texas A&M Challenge to open the 2012 campaign.

2011 AS A JUNIOR: Did not compete.

2010 AS A SOPHOMORE: One of the Cinderella stories of the NCAA Outdoor Championships, advancing to the national meet in the 10,000m run as the second-lowest seed in any event to qualify for the national meet … At the NCAA Championships, ran the eighth-fastest 10K time in school history at 29:37.85 …

2009 AS A FRESHMAN: Did not compete for the Gators in 2009 … Ran unattached twice in the 3,000m indoor event … Notched a first-place victory at the 2009 Tom Jones Memorial Invitational, setting a personal-best time of 8:32.50.

XC: Personal bests of 24:53.70 (8K) and 26:08 (5-mile) … The Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week on Sept. 23, 2008 for a fourth-place finish at the Mountain Dew Invitational … Competed in three meets his rookie season with one top-10 finish … Competed in his first collegiate 10K at the 2009 NCAA South Regional Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL/PREP: Coached by Sam Losorelli and Matt Catinella … Earned All-American status at the 2008 National Scholastic Indoor Championship in the 2 mile … Ranked second in the nation in the 3,000m and was the 2008 Indoor State Champion for the same event … Was a district medalist in cross country sophomore through senior year, including placing seventh as a senior … Also was a state medalist, placing third in 2007 … Earned All-State honors as a junior and senior … Named to the All-League second team in 2005 and first team in 2006 and 2007 …Set the course record at Central Bucks High School as a senior (15:27) … Also holds the team record for the 5K distance (15:18) … Part of the 4x800 relay team that took second place at the 2008 Indoor State Championship … Holds records at CB East in the 2 mile, 3,000m, 3,200m, 4x800m relay and distance medley relay … Most memorable moment was winning the indoor state title and receiving the Dr. James M. Gallagher Outstanding Athlete Award at CB East … Earned All-League first team in the outdoor 3,200m as a sophomore and senior, All-League second team in the outdoor 1,600m …  Also excelled in swimming for three years … Earned All-State honors and set the school record for the 500m freestyle in 2006 … Also earned All-League first team in the same event and All-League honorable mention in the 200m free in 2005 and All-League second-team for the 200m freestyle and 400m free relay in 2007 … Voted Swimmer of the year by the Herald Newspaper in 2005.
