2000 IN CROSS COUNTRY: Missed two meets to compete in the Paralympic Games in Sydney Australia... 15th and earned his third All-South honor with a time of 31:53.86 at the NCAA South Regional (10k)... second at the Gator Invitational with a time of 25:37.78 (8k).
2000 AS A JUNIOR: Competed in three meets, all indoors... Did not finish a race during the season... Left the team in February.
1999 IN CROSS COUNTRY: Competed in seven events...Selected as an at-large qualifier for the National Championships, the first Gator on the men's squad to compete at the national meet as an individual since Mike Mykytok earned All-America honors in 1991...Placed 160th at the NCAA Championships in 32:51.90...Finished first for the Gators and 10th overall at the NCAA South Regional in 30:13.13, earning his second career all-region honor... Placed fourth for the Gators and 24th overall at the SEC Championships in 26:12.40...Had a streak of seven straight regular season finishes in the top 10 broken at the Wolverine Interregional with a 15th place finish (25:34)... Set a new PR with a time of 24:50.49 at the Gator Invitational, taking second and earning his second SEC Athlete of the Week honor...
