NCAA Outdoor Champion with the 4x100m relay (Leadoff leg with Williams, Armstrong and White), 38.35 - First 4x100m national title in school history - Florida record - Wallace Wade Stadium (Duke) record; NCAA Outdoor All-American (fifth) in the 100m, 10.24 - ran a personal best 10.17 in the preliminaries; competed in the semifinals of the 200m finishing 16th in 22.08... SEC Outdoor Champion with the 4x100m Relay team (Leadoff leg with Williams, Armstrong and White), 39.17 - Second consecutive honor for him after 1999 win; fifth in the 100m, 10.33; and fifth in the 200m, 20.63... "BEYOND THE STATS": Represented the U.S. on the World University Games team in the summer of 1999... In the Florida Record books, is tied for seventh place in the 55m (6.24), fourth in the 60m (6.71), sixth for the indoor 200m (20.89), fourth for the 100m (10.17), eighth for the 200m (20.56) and is part of the top 4x100 (38.35) and 4x200 (1:21.50) teams in school history... Placed fifth in the Commissioner's Trophy Standings during his first SEC Championship meet in 1997... Won the 55m dash (6.37) during his first meet as a Gator, the GBTC Invitational... Is a scholarship running back for the Florida football team, where he averaged 6.7 yards per carry and 10.3 yards per reception during the 1999 season... Saw considerable action in 1998 before going down with a knee injury that required surgery, knocking him out of the 1999 indoor track season... Was one of the nation's top prep running backs in high school.... Named to the prestigious Parade All-America Team... Received prep All-America honors from Emfinger's National Blue Chip Report... Nickname is "Bo," but goes by Daymon for the track season... Son of Geraldine Carroll... Born Daymon Damaine Carroll on April 27, 1977 in Norristown, Pa... Has a brother Darnell and Sister Rachelle.
