2013 Season Football FAQ

  • What seats (sections) are available to purchase as a season package?
    Availability of season tickets is based on how many current season ticket holders are renewing their 2011 seats. Seat relocations and assignments are not final until tickets are delivered – in July 2013.
  • What happens to my money if I DO NOT get season tickets?
    Each new booster who does not receive season tickets will receive a full refund.
  • Does the Ticket Office have a season ticket PAYMENT PLAN?
    Season payment plans are not available. However, each ticket holder can pay off portions of their season tickets throughout the renewal period. Final payment MUST be made before the renewal deadline or seats will be released and re-assigned.
  • What happens to my seats if I do not pay by the renewal deadline?
    Your seats will be released from your account and reassigned to another booster.
  • How do I upgrade or improve my seats?
    As you place your season ticket order you may submit your upgrade (seat change) request to the Gator Ticket Office by phone or in writing (scanned email, mail, fax). NOTE: Upgrade requests are made in point order. Unfortunately, not all upgrade requests can be fulfilled.
  • Where can I get information on buying Luxury Seating?
    Information concerning luxury seating can be found by contacting the Gator Boosters Office. Phone: 352.375.4683, ext. 5000
  • Do season tickets include Away games and the Florida vs. Georgia game?
    No. Season tickets include tickets to the seven home games at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium only.
  • How do I order Away game and Florida vs. Georgia tickets?
    Away game and Florida vs. Georgia ticket ordering information is on the Single Game Order form and can be ordered during the single and away game ordering period starting late April. If you are a season Ticket Holder you will be mailed a Single Game Order form.
    Florida vs. Georgia tickets are only available to those season ticket holders who have ordered them the previous year or are new Bull Gators or Grand Gators.
  • Is there a season ticket or Florida vs. Georgia ‘waiting list?
    No. There is not a waiting list for season tickets, Florida vs. Georgia, or Away game tickets
  • When and how do I update my address?
    You will need to send a signed letter to the Gator Ticket Office by May 1, 2013.

Online Ticket Manager

  • How is the online system going to affect me as a season ticket holder?
    Our online, ticketing and booster system allows you to manage your account online. The University Athletic Association, Inc. has simply added another method for fans to order event tickets, as well as making it more convenient for fans to research their own accounts. Each account must have an active email address attached to it.
  • Where do I go to order tickets online and access my account?
    Follow the link for "Manage My Account" (found on the main ticket page at gatorzone.com/tickets) then enter User ID or email and your password.
  • How do I set up my Gators online account so that I may purchase tickets online or view my account history?
    Current season ticket holders already have an account created. Only fans who have never ordered from the University Athletic Association need to create a new account. If you have purchased season or single event tickets in the past you already have an account set up. If a fan has more than one active account sharing one email address then there may be problems accessing the proper account. If you do not know how to log into your account please call the Gator Ticket Office at 352.375.4683 ext. 6800.
  • Will TicketMaster now have all of my personal and financial information?
    No, your personal information placed on your account will only be on our Gator Ticket Office account manager database.
  • Is the website secure?
    Yes, the online web site that will be utilized by our fans is a secure, PCI-compliant atmosphere.
  • Can I still order tickets as I have in the past?
    Yes, you will be able to purchase tickets by sending in your order through the mail, calling our office and placing an order, or by coming directly to the Gator Ticket Office to order your tickets.
  • Will I be able to update my account information online?
    Currently this feature is not available. To update account information such as your address you must send a signed letter to the Ticket Office via fax or mail stating your changes. However, a customer can change their password for their online account.
  • What will happen if I forget my password for my online account?
    You will click on the “Forgot Your Password” link and the password will be emailed directly to you. Also, you may call the Gator Ticket Office directly at (352) 375-4683, ext. 6800, to help you access your account.
  • Will I be able to pay for my tickets online?
    Yes, you can conveniently order your tickets online from the comfort of your own home if you wish.
  • Why am I not able to see my season ticket invoice in my online account?
    This is most likely due to multiple accounts with the same email and other contact information. Please call the Gator Ticket Office at (352) 375-4683.
  • Will my Season Ticket Brochure still be mailed to me?
    The University Athletic Association will place all current printed materials online for your referral.
  • Will I be able to pick my seat location for season or away game tickets?
    No, the Gator Ticket Office utilizes our Gator Booster Priority Point System.
  • If I have a problem ordering online, who do I call?
    Please call the Gator Ticket Office directly at (352) 375-4683, ext 6800.
  • Will there be other outlets to buy tickets?
    Tickets for some University of Florida athletic events can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com.

Printing/Forwarding Tickets

  • Can I print my tickets at home? (Note: For home games only)
    You are able to print your Men’s Basketball, Football, and Baseball season tickets at home by logging into your account. You may also print single game Football and Men’s Basketball. This feature is disabled three (3) hours before the event.
  • Can I send my tickets to someone else to use?
    You may be able to forward tickets from your online account to another customer’s online GatorZone account. This feature is disabled three (3) hours before the event
    NOTE: The recipient must have an account created with an active email address to accept forwarded tickets.
  • Will I be able to sell my tickets online to other fans?
    No, this option is not available.

Points and Transfers

  • How are booster priority points earned?
    • 1 point is earned per every $100 dollars donated
    • 5 points are earned for each consecutive year a booster member owns season tickets
    • 2 points are earned when you donate $100 toward the Gator Boosters endowment.
  • Do my booster points for football carry over to any other sports?
    No. Any sport in which Gator fans can earn points may only receive benefits toward the sport they earned the points from.
  • I have two or more accounts. Can I merge these accounts to combine booster points?
    No. Multiple accounts may not be merged to combine booster points.
  • How can I transfer my season tickets to someone else?
    Booster transfers are handled by the Gator Boosters Office. The recipients’ contribution requirement will be determined by the Gator Booster Office as the decisions are based on the transfer policy.
  • I work for the University of Florida. How do UF staff members receive season tickets for football and men’s basketball?
    You must contact the Gator Ticket Office to place an order. UF staff members are currently limited to 2 season tickets without a contribution. If you wish to purchase more you must go up a club level and pay the contribution that accompanies that club level.
  • How can University of Florida alumni receive football tickets?
    Alumni must pay booster contributions. Tickets are received based on availability.

Student Ticket Information

  • I am a UF student. How do I obtain student tickets to UF athletic events?
    UF students must register for the student football ticket lottery in order to purchase football season tickets. All Thursday night unclaimed football, Georgia, FSU (away game years) or post-season football ticket sales will also take place online. Men’s basketball tickets are free of charge, but each student must register online for every game they wish to attend. All other UF sports are free to UF students with a valid Gator 1 ID (not including any post-season events or tournaments).

Miscellaneous

  • Will my tickets still be mailed to me at my designated address?
    Yes, your tickets will be mailed to you at the address we have on file, via USPS.
  • What are the Gator Ticket Office hours of operation? Where is the office located?
    The Gator Ticket Office business hours are 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Gator Ticket Office is located in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium between Gates 1 & 2.
  • Will my tickets be scanned on game day when entering the venue?
    All ticketed events are now scanned at the gate.
  • Does my young child need a ticket for a sporting event at UF?
    All persons (regardless of age) must have a ticket to enter any University of Florida athletic event that requires a ticket for admission.
  • Are my tickets refundable?
    Fans who have conflicts that come up preventing them from using tickets they purchased to an event may submit a refund request through the Gator Ticket Office.  Requests must be submitted no later than the day before the game and each request is reviewed on a case by case basis.  To submit a refund request please email the ticket office or fax (352) 372-5801 a letter with the customer’s account information, reason for refund and signature.  Fans may also use the free online ticket transfer option to forward tickets to a friend.
