FALL SEASON: compiled the best fall season results of her collegiate career, posting a 12-4 record that was highlighted by reaching the finals of the USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships (lost to SMU’s No. 10 Marta Lesniak) and the consolation finals of the Riviera/ITA All American (lost to Stanford’s No. 17 Mallory Burdette) … played her way to the finals of the National Indoors with three-set wins against No. 89 Sam Vickers of Tulsa and No. 9 Chelsey Gullickson (4-6, 6-4, 6-3), whom had defeated her a week earlier 6-0, 6-1 in the quarterfinals of the USTA/ITA SE Regional Championships … win over Gullickson had been the highest-ranked opponent she has defeated in her career, until she knocked off Stanford’s No. 7 Nicole Gibbs, 6-3, 6-1 the next day in the semifinals … each of the first seven opponents she played were nationally ranked … player her way through three rounds of qualifying to reach the main draw of the Riviera/ITA All American, where she dropped a tough 2-6, 6-4, 7-5 decision to Arizona State’s Jaquenline Cako in the round of 16, sending her into the consolation draw where she collected big wins against Virginia’s No. 18 Lindsey Hardenbergh and Miami’s No. 25 Anna Barnstein … 8-4 vs. ranked opponents … 3-1 in three-set matches

Season-High National Ranking: 11 (March 13 with Lauren Embree) … 30-5 overall record, 26-2 in dual matches (including 11-0 in SEC regular-season matches) ... played with Lauren Embree (29-4) and Caroline Hitimana (1-1) … advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Doubles Championships, highlighted by a 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 win againt California’s No. 5-ranked team of Annie Goransson and Anett Schutting; lost to Tennessee’s No. 10-ranked Natalie Pluskota and Kata Szekely, 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (3) ... had entered the NCAA Team Quarterfinals riding a 23-match win streak with Mather - the third longest streak in program history - before dropping the 8-4 decision to Miami’s 76th-ranked Lina Lileikite and Gabriela Mejia; that loss also snapped her individual 18-match win streak ... rallied for the 9-7 clinching win against Michigan’s Mimi Nguyen and Michelle Sulahian, who were serving for the match at 7-5, in the NCAA Quarterfinals after the other two matches had split decisions ... clinched the doubles point in the NCAA Second Round with an 8-2 win against Washington State’s Liudmila Vasilieva & Elizaveta Luzina ... posted an 8-0 win against South Carolina State’s Victoria Khatcei and Laura Bosneag in the NCAA first round ... provided the crucial clinching win in the SEC Tournament final with an 8-5 win against Georgia’s Chelsey Gullickson and Alina Jerjomina after the other two matches had split decisions; also on the winning end of the clinching 8-6 decision at Georgia (March 4) during the regular season … 5-0 in doubles-point clinching matches

 

FALL SEASON: logged a 3-2 record in two events (both with Lauren Embree), with the highlight of winning the 2011 Riviera/ITA All American consolation doubles draw, defeating Virginia’s ninth-ranked Hardenbergh and Vierra, 8-0, in the final, after earning wins against Georgia Tech’s sixth-ranked pair of Lilley and O’Neill, 8-2 … dropped a round of 16 decision to Tennessee’s Plukota and Szekely in the USTA/ITA National Indoors

Singles: FINAL ITA National Singles Ranking: 40 … Season-High National Singles Ranking: 19 (Feb. 17, 2011) … 30-9 overall and 15-3 in dual matches (5-1 SEC dual matches) … sported a season-high eight-match win streak during the spring … advanced to the second round of the NCAA Singles Championships where she fell to top-ranked and eventual champion Jana Juricova from California ... inspired the Gators with her gutsy comeback effort in the NCAA Team Semifinals against UCLA’s Pamela Montez, as she rallied from down a set and 5-0, fighting off two match-points to win the second set 7-5 and held serve to start the third set when play was halted and UF secured the dual match win ... her 0-6, 6-4, 6-3 comeback win against Clemson’s 114th-ranked Nelly Ciolkowski in the NCAA Round of 16 gave UF a 3-1 lead ... only Gator to win her singles and doubles matches in the NCAA Second Round victory against South Carolina, downing Dominika Kanakova, 6-2, 6-2, to give UF a 3-0 lead ... played a career-high No. 2 in the lineup and earned a 6-1, 6-0 win against Mississippi State’s Mariia Ryzhova (Feb. 27) ... lone SEC dual-match loss was a tough 0-6, 6-3, 6-3 decision to Georgia’s Alex Anghelescu in the final match of the contest … won three rounds and advanced to the semifinals of the Freeman Memorial Championships (at UNLV in January), where she upset Stanford’s 23rd-ranked Kristie Ahn, 6-3, 6-3, but lost to teammate Olivia Janowicz, 7-5, 7-5 … 13-8 versus ranked opponents … highest-ranked opponent played: 1 (California’s Jana Juricova, May 26, NCAA Singles Second Round) … highest-ranked opponent defeated: 20 (Ole Miss’ Kristi Boxx, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, Sept. 11) … 9-1 in three-setters … 5-0 in clinching matches

FALL SEASON: ITA Preseason Doubles Ranking: 6 (with Lauren Embree) … 6-3 record during the fall … went 6-1 with Hitimana … won four matches and reached the final of the ITA Southeast Regional Championship with Hitimana, but lost to UF teammates Sofie Oyen and Alllie Will, 8-4 … won both matches at the Gator fall Classic with Hitimana … lost both matches with Embree at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships, falling in the round of 32 to Arkansas’ 26th-ranked Tigu and Paulson, before losing 9-7 to Duke’s ninth-ranked Gorny and Clayton in the consolation round

Singles:  Current ITA National Singles Ranking: none … Season-High National Singles Ranking: 86 (Preseason) … 18-6 overall reocrd, including a 10-3 dual match mark: played the No. 4 (2-0), No. 5 (6-3) and No. 6 (2-0) positions ... went 4-0 in NCAA Team action, including a thrilling two-hour-and-42-minute three-setter in the final against Carolyn McVeigh (5-7, 6-4, 6-0) that tied the score at 3-all and nearly helped the Gators win the national title ...  tallied a 6-4, 6-2 upset over Miami’s 113th-ranked Gabriela Mejia and gave UF a 3-0 lead in the NCAA Quarterfinals en route to the team win … only Gator to win both singles matches during the NCAA First & Seconds rounds, as she defeated Washington’s Samantha Smith, 6-2, 6-3 to give UF a 3-0 lead in the team score en route to advancing to the Round of 16 … during the NCAA First Round, played the No. 4 position for the second time during the 2010 season and posted her first double-bagel win of the year, downing South Carolina State’s Sarai Torres for UF’s first singles victory of the dual match … sidelined for the first two months of the Spring season due to injury and returned in early March, with first dual match action coming on March 5 vs. Arkansas’ Fernanda Perrotta (def. 1-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-8) … 3-0 vs. ranked opponents, with highest-ranked opponent defeated N.C. State’s 70th-ranked Lenka Hojckova, 6-1, 6-1 (Nov. 6) … 1-0 in clinching matches

FALL SEASON: 8-3 record during the fall, playing in SEC Coaches Fall Classic-B Draw (2-1), the Gator Fall Classic (2-1), the Riveria All-American Pre-Qualifier (0-1) and the Kitty Harrison Invitational (4-0), where she defeated two ranked opponents (N.C. State’s 70th-ranked Lenka Hojckova, 6-1, 6-1’ North Carolina’s 91st-ranked Shinann Featherston, 1-6, 6-3, 1-0 (10-8))

2009 SPRING

Singles:  Final National Ranking: 117; Final ITA South Region Ranking: 28; Season-High National Ranking: 117 (Final) … her 23 total wins tied for the second most on the team, as did her 19 dual match victories … played the first six dual matches at the No. 4 position, before settling into the No. 3 spot for the rest of the year … highest-ranked opponent defeated during the year was Georgia’s No. 51 Nadja Gilchrist, 7-6 (4), 6-2, that helped swing the momentum in the Gators’ 4-3 team victory … less than 48 hours after emotional win over Gilchrist, provided the clinching victory in UF’s 4-3 decision over Tennessee, downing Samantha Orlin 6-7 (4), 6-4, 6-1 … those wins helped spark a season-high 10-match win streak … 3-1 record in clinching matches, with the last one coming against Florida State, when she provided a victory over Lauren Macfarlane, 2-6, 6-4, 6-3 in the NCAA Second Round 4-3 win … posted her first collegiate double-bagel win (6-0, 6-0) with the shutout coming against Troy’s Leonie Guijt on Feb. 21.

Doubles:  Final National Ranking: 14 (with Marrit Boonstra); Final ITA South Region Ranking: 3 (with Boonstra); Season-High National Ranking: 14 (with Boonstra, Final) … tallied a 22-14 overall doubles record, including an 18-7 mark in dual match action and a 9-2 stint in SEC play … played the first five dual matches with Barbara Pinterova at the No. 3 position, before teaming with Boonstra, as the pair played the No. 1 (7-3) and No. 2 (8-2) spots … qualified for NCAA Doubles Championships with Boonstra and advanced to the round of 16 after upsetting North Carolina’s No. 4 Grabinski and Marand 6-2, 6-2 in the opening round … 6-7 vs. ranked teams … 5-4 in clinching doubles-point matches.

Singles:  Capped the fall winning her final three matches – all at the SEC Fall Coaches Classic Gold Flight – after dropping her first four contests to end the season 3-4 entering the winter break.

Doubles:  Also went 3-4 on the doubles court during the fall season, playing with Barbara Pinterova (1-2) and Anastasia Revzina (2-2)

Trained at the Racquet Club of the South in Norcross, Ga. with coaches Atilla Azucki and Pablo Gonzales-King ... Advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2007 USTA ITF Junior Circuit event in South Carolina ... Achieved a ranking of 130th in the ITF Juniors rankings in 2007 ... advanced to the quarterfinals of three singles’ events in 2007 ... played on the U.S. National Team against Great Britain in 2006 … a semifinalist in doubles at the USTA ITF Junior Circuit event in Atlanta ... ranked No. 13 in 2006 in the USTA rankings and eighth in 2005.
