Season-High National Ranking: 19 (final ranking with Benik) …paired with freshman Keri Robison at the No. 3 position for the first four dual matches (3-1 record), but has played with Benik at the No. 1 spot in every dual match since (13-6 record) … earned a well-played 6-4, 6-0 victory over Harvard's third-ranked Melissa Anderson and Elsa O'Riain in the first round of the NCAA Doubles Championships before falling to UCLA's 12th-ranked Laura Gordon and Riza Zalamedia in the next round ... defeated Baylor's Zuzana Cerna & Daniela Covello 8-6 in a tight match in the NCAA team quarterfinals, earning a break in the final game to give UF its first individual win of the dual match ... the hard-fought 8-5 win over South Florida's ninth-ranked Gabriela Duch & Neyssa Etienne clinching the doubles point in the NCAA Second Round (May 13) … needed just 23 minutes to collect an 8-1 win in the NCAA first round versus Samford's Sarah McKey and Emily White … posted an impressive 8-4 victory over Duke's 17th-ranked team of Danielle Bercek and J. Robinson (March 28) … began the spring season playing with Benik at the National Collegiate Classic, reaching the semifinals before falling 8-6 to USC's Nelson and Magnani … 5-0 with Benik in clinching doubles-point matches (Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Auburn, South Florida-NCAA 2R) … 1-1 with Benik in super-tiebreaker matches this spring.

2004 Spring: Earned No. 1 singles ranking on April 6 and again on April 20, becoming the first Gator to sit atop the rankings since Jessica Lehnhoff on April 29, 2002 …sported a 16-3 dual match record at and was 10-1 in SEC play, with all matches played at the No. 1 position in the lineup…19-5 versus nationally ranked opponents … advanced to the round of 16 at the NCAA Singles Championships … won 100th career singles match 6-2, 6-1 versus Mississippi State's Marcelle Hirt (Apr. 2) … defeated No. 5 Agata Cioroch of Georgia 6-3, 7-5 (March 26), the highest ranked opponent she has defeated during her career … only one match this spring extended into the third set - a hard fought 4-6, 7-6 (5), 10-8 victory over No. 63 Anca Dumitrescu of Florida State (Feb. 18).
2003 Fall: Compiled a 8-2 record…started the season 6-0 - extending her overall win streak to 29 dating back to last season - including wins over three top 21-ranked opponents … her 29-match win streak was the third longest in UF history … 6-2 overall against ranked opponents, with the only losses coming against opponents ranked in the top 10…defeated No. 9 Amanda Johnson of Duke 6-3, 6-4 (Sept. 28) in the championship match of the Flight A in the adidas Invitational …defeated No. 15 Luana Magnani of Southern California (Oct. 10) in the round of 16 of the Riviera All-American in an incredible match 3-6, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (4) and later lost a hard-fought 6-2, 6-7, 7-5 quarterfinal match to No. 3 Raquel Kops-Jones of California … advanced to the quarterfinals of the National Indoor Championships.

2004 Spring: Paired with Rotondi for all dual matches…19-3 in dual matches, 9-2 in SEC play and 4-2 versus ranked opponents during the spring and 7-2 overall against ranked foes this season … began spring with a 12-match winning streak … clinched the doubles point for UF in the SEC Tournament Quarterfinals versus Ole Miss (Apr. 16) …recorded most impressive win of spring on March 5 in a 9-7 victory over the No. 2 ranked duo of Schmandt/Tsoubanos from Vanderbilt.
2003 Fall: Posted a 6-1 doubles record, playing all matches with Julie Rotondi…won the Flight A championship of the adidas Invitational (Oct. 3), beating Tennessee's No. 14 pair T. Encina and M. Immink 8-1 in the quarterfinals.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2002-03)

2003 Spring: Ended the season riding a team-high 23-match win streak - the seventh longest in UF history - including 6-0, 6-0 wins in the first two rounds of the NCAA Championships and a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Georgia's Alex Smith in the final of the SEC Tournament that clinched the title for the Gators ... withdrew from the NCAA Singles Championship due to exhaustion from the team competition ... won all six dual matches in the NCAA Team Championships ... capped the regular season with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over USC's Magda Wojdylo (April 12) … won a team-high 45 singles matches, the seventh-highest single-season win total in UF history … avoided a third set against Stanford's Emilia Anderson in the NCAA Final by rallying from a late break in the second set to post a 6-4, 7-5 win and give UF a 3-1 lead ... in the NCAA Semifinal match against Duke, staged a remarkable second-set comeback against Katie Blaszak, where she was receiving down 5-1 to win 6-2, 7-5 and helped UF to the 4-3 win ... her thrilling 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 victory over Tennessee's Sabita Maharaj on April 4 provided the clinching point in the 4-3 UF win … played a career-high No. 1 singles on Feb. 1 against Florida International, defeating Mei Ly 6-1, 6-4.
2002 Fall: Posted a 17-4 record…defeated No. 8 Kate Pinchbeck of North Carolina 6-2, 6-2 in the quarterfinals of the Omni Hotels National Indoors Nov. 8 for her highest-ranked opponent win…Carried an eight-match win streak into the semifinals of the Omni Hotels National Indoors, where she lost to No. 4 Jewel Peterson of Southern California 4-6, 6-2, 6-2… declared co-champion of the Omni Hotels South Regional with teammate Julia Scaringe, as the final was never contested … Won the adidas Invitational consolation final Sept. 29 with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Tammy Encina of Tennessee...Fell to No. 1 Vilmarie Castellvi of Tennessee Sept. 27 in adidas Invitational round of 16.

2003 Spring: Began playing with Rotondi on March 21 against Clemson and paired with her in every dual match to end the year, posting a 12-2 record (10-2 at the No. 2 spot) … Gordon and Rotondi lost their debut together - an 8-6 decision to Clemson's Alvarex and Lacelarie - before zipping off 12 straight wins … reached the second round of the NCAA Doubles Championships with Scaringe, defeating San Diego State's Tornier and Erichsen 6-4, 2-6, 6-2 in the opening round ... opened the dual match season with Scaringe, playing the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, posting a 10-5 record … with Scaringe, defeated Southern California's ninth-ranked Brymer and Jewel Peterson 8-5 in the semifinal round of the National Team Indoor Championships Feb. 8.
2002 Fall: Went 11-3 in doubles competition, playing all of her matches with Scaringe… reached the quarterfinals of the Omni Hotels National Indoor Championships with Scaringe Nov. 8, falling to California's No. 6 pair of Christina Fusano and Raquel Kops-Jones 8-3 … Captured the 32-team Omni Hotels South Regional title with an 8-2 victory over Ole Miss' Mira Radu and Virginia Tumatis in the final Oct. 28 … Semifinalist with Scaringe at the 32-team Riviera All-American Championships Oct. 12 after in incredible run through four rounds of the qualifying draw … At the Riviera All-American, upset Southern California's No. 2 pair of Brymer and Peterson 8-3 in the quarterfinals.

2002 Spring: Played the majority of the dual match season at the No. 4 singles position, where she has compiled a 16-3 record ... logged her first career NCAA win, which was the team clinching victory over Wake Forest's Karin Coetzee 6-3, 2-6, 6-2 in the Quarterfinals ... 19-3 overall in dual matches, going 3-0 at the No. 3 spot ... provided the clinching dual match point on seven occasions - winning six, including her 3-6, 7-6 (7), 7-5 victory over 78th-ranked Kelly Schmandt of Vanderbilt to give UF a 4-3 win on March 17 ... one clinching match loss was in the NCAA Final, where she lost a hard-fought 7-6 (4), 6-2 battle to Stanford's 13th-ranked Erin Burdette ... went 3-0 at the SEC Tournament and provided the clinching match victory in the final ... lone dual match loss during the regular season was to Texas' Kaysie Smashey.
2001 Fall: Posted an impressive 15-5 record in the Fall, with three of the losses coming against top-25 ranked players … earned an automatic bid into the Omni Hotels National Indoor Championships after advancing to the finals at the Omni Hotels South Regional Championships … in her first-ever collegiate tournament won the Flight B draw of the adidas Invitational, going 5-0 en route to the title … won her inaugural college match - a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Tennessee's Majen Immink.

2002 Spring: Paired with Julia Scaringe for every regular season dual match except the season opener, when she teamed with Zerene Reyes ... played all but one dual match with Scaringe at the No. 2 position ... posted a major 8-5 upset over Stanford's 14th-ranked pair of Lauren Barnikow and Erin Burdette in the NCAA Team Final ... provided the clinching doubles win in UF's NCAA Quarterfinal match, where Gordon and Scaringe trailed the entire pro-set against Janet Bergman and Maren Haus, but rallied for the dramatic 9-8 (3) win ... upset South Carolina's 41st-ranked team in the SEC Tournament final, giving UF the clinching doubles win en route to the Gator's title run ... 6-3 in clinching matches deciding the doubles point.
2001 Fall: With Annika Bengtsson, advanced to the quarterfinals of the Omni Hotels South Regional Championships before losing a tough 9-8 (3) decision to Georgia's 20th-ranked pair of Agata Cioroch and Lori Grey.

Racquet Club in 2000 and 2001 … advanced to the round of 16 at the 2001 Girls 18's Hard Court Championships played in San Jose, Calif… quarterfinalist at the 2000 Girls' 18 Easter Bowl held in Palm Springs, where she fell to No. 2-ranked Megan Bradley … semifinalist at the 2000 Girls' 18 Christmas Supernationals in Tempe, Ariz., bowing out to 10th-ranked Theresa Logar … runner-up at the 1999 Girls' 18 Indoors played in Detroit, Mich., losing to Kathleen Blaszak …reached the semifinals of the 1999 Girls' 18 International Grass courts in Chestnut Hill, Pa., falling to the No. 2 seed from South Africa … ranked No. 16 in the 2001 USTA Junior Seedings/Selection List of Girls' 18 for singles … coached "from day 1" by her father Philip Gordon.
