Spring 2012: Finished with a 24-11 overall singles record and 25-13 overall doubles mark…Played near the top of the singles lineup during the dual match season, compiling a 15-7 record, including an 8-3 mark in SEC matches…Named All-SEC Second Team for his play…Finished the year ranked No. 53 in the ITA Singles Rankings and No. 62 with Spencer Newman in the doubles rankings…Peaked at No. 47 in the singles rankings on April 24, and No. 14 in doubles with Newman on February 16…Earned an at-large bid to the 2012 NCAA Singles Championships, but lost in the opening round…Posted five wins over ranked opponents in singles, including a comeback three set win over then-No. 35 Jonas Lutjen at Ole Miss…Was 4-3 in three set matches and 4-0 in tie breaks…Provided the clinching point in six matches for the Gators…Had two separate five-match win streaks on the year…Was 6-5 at No. 2 singles and 9-2 at No. 3 singles…Reached the Round of 16 at the SEC Indoors in January.

 

Fall 2011: Transferred from Wake Forest and joined the team in August of 2011, beginning competition for the fall season…Entered the fall with a No. 69 national ranking…Posted a 7-3 record in singles action, including five-straight wins to start his Gator career…2 of 3 losses came to nationally ranked opponents…Advanced to the Round of 16 at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships… Teamed with Spencer Newman to post a 10-3 doubles record, including seven-straight wins to open the season, earning a No. 41 preseason ranking for the spring of 2012…The pair advanced to the finals of the Southern Intercollegiate Championships and the Round of 16 at the Southeast Region Championship.

Sophomore (At Wake Forest)

2010-11: Appeared in 22 dual matches for the Demon Deacons, playing at the top two spots in the singles lineup ... Ranked as high as No. 36 nationally in singles to start the season…Ended the year with a 12-16 doubles record and 13-20 singles record…Beat No. 98 Dominic Hodgson (NC State) at the Duke Fab Four Invitational…Topped Tennessee's No. 83 Tennys Sandgren at the UVA Ranked Plus One Invite…Topped No. 88 Neal Skupski 7-5, 6-4 to help Wake Forest edge No. 35 LSU 4-3…Dominated No. 91 Clint Bowles 6-1, 6-0 in the Deacons' 4-3 victory over Florida State…Reached the finals of his flight at the UVA Ranked Plus One Invitational…Made the championship match of his doubles flight with partner Iain Atkinson at the UVA Ranked Plus One Invitational and the Duke Fab Four Invitational.

 

Freshman (At Wake Forest)

2009-2010: Enrolled in January…First freshman in Wake Forest history to be selected to the NCAA Singles Championship…Named to the 2010 All-ACC team…Posted a 14-11 singles record, including 11-6 while playing at the No. 2 position…Ranked as high as No. 20 nationally in singles, finished the season ranked No. 56…Won his first seven singles matches as a Demon Deacon…Defeated three ranked opponents in a row in No. 16 Bruno Rosa (Rice), No. 39 Alex Musialek (Kentucky) and No. 33 Jason Jung (Michigan)…Compiled a 9-13 doubles record while playing mostly with Jonathan Wolff, Zach Leslie and Danny Kreyman.

 

PREP: Played in Junior US Open…State Doubles High School Champion…Competed in Junior Davis Cup for the US in Italy and Canada…Named a blue chip recruit by the Tennis Recruiting Network…Parents are Frank and Nyla Carleton…Brother Reid played tennis for Duke.
