Spring 2013: Battled through an injury and compiled a singles record of 17-13 for the year, including a 10-5 mark in dual matches and 4-1 record in SEC matches…Had two wins against ranked opponents on the season…Provided the clinching point in a win over St. John’s…Had an overall doubles record of 18-14, including a 17-10 mark with partner Gordon Watson…Reached as high as No. 28 in the doubles rankings with Watson.

 

Fall 2012: Finished the season with a 5-7 singles record and a 6-2 doubles record with Gordon Watson…Three of his losses came to nationally ranked opponents, including two top 20 players…Federhofer and Watson claimed their first doubles title as partners, winning the 2012 Dick Vitale Clay Court Classic…Advanced to the singles quarterfinal at the 2012 Dick Vitale Clay Court Classic.

 

JUNIOR

Spring 2012: Finished the season with a 14-9 singles record and a 26-16 doubles mark…Ended the season ranked No. 13 in the ITA Doubles Rankings with Nassim Slilam…Peaked at No. 4 with Slilam in doubles on January 3…Was 4-2 in three set matches and 4-5 in tie breaks…Provided the clinching point in the Gators win over Wake Forest…Defeated one ranked opponent, No. 107 Alejandro Gomez of Kentucky…Played at No. 1 doubles with Slilam for 22 of the 26 dual matches…The duo defeated nine ranked opponents in doubles, all in the top 50, including seven in the top 20…Competed in the 2012 NCAA Doubles Championships with Slilam, losing in the Round of 32.

 

Fall 2011: Entered the fall ranked No. 119, his first collegiate ranking in singles…Had a 6-3 record in fall singles action…All three losses came to players ranked in the top 75 nationally…Reached the Round of 16 at the USTA/ITA Southeast Regional Championships…Paired with Nassim Slilam in doubles, beginning the fall ranked No. 36, and played outstanding, finishing with a 13-4 record…The duo started the fall off with a 5-3 record, but reeled off eight-straight wins and earned the No. 4 national ranking heading into the spring…They claimed the USTA/ITA Southeast Regional Title and advanced to the semifinals of the USTA/ITA National Indoor Championships…The teammates knocked off three-straight top-20 opponents at the National Indoor Championships…Beat the No. 1-ranked tandem of Kevin King and Juan Spir from Georgia Tech, 9-7, in the quarterfinals of the National Indoor Championships.

 

SOPHOMORE

Spring 2011: Finished 2010-11 with a 21-16 singles record and a 25-11 doubles mark…Named Gators’ Most Improved Player for the season…Posted a 13-3 doubles record after being paired with Nassim Slilam at the start of the SEC schedule, going 6-1 at the No. 2 position and 7-2 at No. 3…Achieved a national ranking for the first time in his career as he and Slilam twice broke into the ITA doubles rankings (80th on March 29 and 90th on April 12)…Tallied a 14-8 dual singles mark…Clinched Florida’s 4-2 win over Tennessee in the SEC Tournament semifinals, topping No. 76 Matteo Fago in three sets on court five to propel the Gators into the championship match.

 

Fall 2010: Posted a 6-6 singles mark, but only straight-sets loss was to the nation’s fourth-ranked player…Reached the Round of 16 at the Texas Invitational in Austin, Texas…Posted a 5-2 doubles mark, including 3-1 with Bob van Overbeek and 2-1 with Sekou Bangoura Jr., as he and van Overbeek swept their matches at the Gator Invitational…Reached the qualifying Round of 16 with Bangoura at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla.

 

FRESHMAN

Spring 2010: Earned a 2-0 dual singles record and 5-2 in dual doubles with Bob Van Overbeek…Appeared twice at the No. 6 singles position (UCF, Florida Atlantic) and seven times at the No. 3 doubles position…Went 3-0 in doubles during SEC play, including matches against Arkansas, LSU and Vanderbilt…Finished his freshman year with overall marks of 6-5 in singles and 9-6 in doubles.

 

Fall 2009: Posted a 4-4 singles record and a 3-3 record in doubles alongside Erik Corace…Reached the singles quarterfinals of the Seminole Invitational in Tallahassee, Fla., before falling to Corace…Posted a win in his first career match, winning 6-4, 6-7 (7-3), 1-0 (10-7) against South Florida’s Mark Oljaca in the Gator Invitational.

 

Prior to Florida

Winner of the 2006 Boys’ 16s USTA National Open Championships in Pensacola, Fla., and won an 18s national event in Delray Beach, Fla.…Won the Florida state closed doubles 18s and was a finalist in singles…Finished third in 16s doubles super-national.
