Fall 2009: Compiled a 14-3 singles mark after receiving at No. 23 preseason ranking in the ITA poll and also went 9-1 in doubles with Antoine Benneteau…Posted a 9-3 singles mark against ranked opponents…Reached the singles quarterfinals of the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla., and the semifinals of the ITA Southeastern Regional Championships in Athens, Ga.…Received an at-large bid to the ITA National Indoor Championships in New Haven, Conn., and swept the consolation bracket after falling in the first round of the main draw…Won the doubles ITA Southeast Regional Championships with Benneteau and reached the double quarterfinals at the ITA National Indoor Championships…Went 3-0 in singles and in doubles, both in Flight 1, at the Gator Invitational, hosted by UF.
SOPHOMORE
Spring 2009: Closed the season at No. 42 in the ITA Singles Rankings…Competed in the NCAA singles draw and was named first-team All-SEC…Finished 19-9 in singles competition and 23-3 in doubles action…His team-best 23 doubles wins included a 22-match win streak…All but one doubles match was played alongside Carlos Cueto…His 19 singles wins in spring play were tied for second on the team…Went 14-6 at No. 2 singles and 4-1 on the No. 1 court…Won first seven matches against ranked opponents, with four of those coming against players in the top 16…Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll.
Fall 2008: Did not compete.
FRESHMAN
Spring 2008: Finished 73rd in the ITA Singles Rankings…Was an alternate for the NCAA singles draw…Named to the All-SEC second-team…Went 21-14 in singles competition and 21-10 in doubles…Seventeen doubles wins in dual matches tied for the highest total on the team with Nestor Briceno…Had 13 wins in singles dual matches, which was the fourth-highest total on the team and second among all freshmen…Played most of the season on the No. 3 court in singles and doubles competition...Posted a 10-8 record on the No. 3 court and a 3-3 record on court No. 2 in singles play…Won five matches against ranked opponents to lead all freshmen.
Fall 2007: Went 7-2 in singles, which was the top record for any newcomer to the team…Also, went 4-3 in doubles play…Capped a highly successful fall by winning the Seminole Invitational main draw with five wins including three over ranked opponents…His three victories against ranked foes were the second-highest for any team member…Teamed with Nestor Briceno for much of his doubles matches...The two had their best showing at the ITA Southeast Regional where they advanced to the quarterfinals with three victories.
PREP Won the 20th Damascus International Junior Tournament in 2004 in Syria…Advanced to the Round of 32 at the Heiveld Flanders Junior Championships in Belgium…Defeated Philippe Frayssinoux in the qualifying round of the French Riviera International Junior Open Qualifying Draw (6-3 7-5).
