Spring 2011: Finished career as Florida’s all-time leader in overall wins (214), doubles victories (104) and tied for fourth in singles wins (110)…ITA All-American in singles and doubles with Sekou Bangoura Jr., becoming the fifth player to receive four All-American honors in UF history…Finished the season ranked eighth nationally in singles and 12th (with Bangoura) and 29th (with Nassim Slilam) in doubles…Earned first-team All-SEC for the second straight year and his third career All-SEC honor…Competed in the singles and doubles NCAA championships, advancing to the semifinals of the doubles event with Bangoura and the second round in singles…Led the Gators to their fourth SEC Tournament title, earning Tournament MVP and All-Tournament Team recognition…Named ITA Southeast Region Senior of the Year…Earned SEC Player of the Week honors twice (Feb. 2 and March 16)…Played No. 1 singles and doubles in every dual match for the second straight season, going 19-7 in dual singles and 16-14 at doubles…Finished the 2010-11 campaign with a 36-11 singles record and a 29-16 doubles mark, and the 65 wins are tied for the fifth-highest single-season total at Florida, matching his own junior season total…His 36 singles wins marked the No. 6 single-season total at UF…Went 10-3 in three-set singles matches and 14-2 in tiebreakers.

 

Fall 2010: Ranked preseason No. 9 in the nation and posted a 14-2 record, including 5-1 against fellow preseason top-50 players…Reached his first national semifinal at the USTA/ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships in Flushing, N.Y., defeating defending national champion Bradley Klahn of Stanford in the Round of 16…Reached the quarterfinals at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla., for the second consecutive year…Won the Napa Valley Classic in St. Helena, Calif., which featured the top four players from six top-20 teams around the nation…Also won singles and doubles (with Nassim Slilam) at the Gator Invitational for the second consecutive year…Went 8-2 in doubles with Slilam, highlighted by reaching the semifinals at the ITA All-American Championships.

 

JUNIOR

Spring 2010: Earned ITA All-American honors in singles and doubles, alongside Antoine Benneteau…First-team All-SEC for the second consecutive year and third time making an All-SEC squad…ITA Southeast Region Player to Watch…Competed in the NCAA singles championships for the second straight year, advancing to the second round…Appeared at No. 1 singles and doubles in every dual match of the season, going 18-6 in singles and 19-6 in doubles…Finished 2009-10 with a 34-11 record, including 23-10 against ranked opponents and 2-1 against top-five foes…His 34 singles wins are tied for seventh-highest for a season in program history…Joined Benneteau in becoming the second duo in UF history to record at least 30 doubles wins in a season, tallying a 31-8 mark on the season…Combined 65 wins are fifth-most in a season in UF history.

 

Fall 2009: Compiled a 14-3 singles mark after receiving at No. 23 preseason ranking in the ITA poll and also went 9-1 in doubles with Antoine Benneteau…Posted a 9-3 singles mark against ranked opponents…Reached the singles quarterfinals of the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla., and the semifinals of the ITA Southeastern Regional Championships in Athens, Ga.…Received an at-large bid to the ITA National Indoor Championships in New Haven, Conn., and swept the consolation bracket after falling in the first round of the main draw…Won the doubles ITA Southeast Regional Championships with Benneteau and reached the double quarterfinals at the ITA National Indoor Championships…Went 3-0 in singles and in doubles, both in Flight 1, at the Gator Invitational, hosted by UF.

 

SOPHOMORE

Spring 2009: Closed the season at No. 42 in the ITA Singles Rankings…Competed in the NCAA singles draw and was named first-team All-SEC…Finished 19-9 in singles competition and 23-3 in doubles action…His team-best 23 doubles wins included a 22-match win streak…All but one doubles match was played alongside Carlos Cueto…His 19 singles wins in spring play were tied for second on the team…Went 14-6 at No. 2 singles and 4-1 on the No. 1 court…Won first seven matches against ranked opponents, with four of those coming against players in the top 16…Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll.

 

Fall 2008: Did not compete.

 

FRESHMAN

Spring 2008: Finished 73rd in the ITA Singles Rankings…Was an alternate for the NCAA singles draw…Named to the All-SEC second-team…Went 21-14 in singles competition and 21-10 in doubles…Seventeen doubles wins in dual matches tied for the highest total on the team with Nestor Briceno…Had 13 wins in singles dual matches, which was the fourth-highest total on the team and second among all freshmen…Played most of the season on the No. 3 court in singles and doubles competition...Posted a 10-8 record on the No. 3 court and a 3-3 record on court No. 2 in singles play…Won five matches against ranked opponents to lead all freshmen.

 

Fall 2007: Went 7-2 in singles, which was the top record for any newcomer to the team…Also, went 4-3 in doubles play…Capped a highly successful fall by winning the Seminole Invitational main draw with five wins including three over ranked opponents…His three victories against ranked foes were the second-highest for any team member…Teamed with Nestor Briceno for much of his doubles matches...The two had their best showing at the ITA Southeast Regional where they advanced to the quarterfinals with three victories.

 

PREP Won the 20th Damascus International Junior Tournament in 2004 in Syria…Advanced to the Round of 32 at the Heiveld Flanders Junior Championships in Belgium…Defeated Philippe Frayssinoux in the qualifying round of the French Riviera International Junior Open Qualifying Draw (6-3 7-5).
