FALL OF 2007 Was ranked tenth in the ITA Preseason singles poll and was eighth in the doubles poll with teammate Tyler Hochwalt…Saw limited action in the fall due to injury, however, finished 6-2 in singles play and 1-2 in doubles…Defeated a team-high five ranked opponents in the fall and went 5-1 overall against ranked foes…Advanced to the semifinals in the main draw at the ITA Championships in Tulsa, Okla…Made a showing in the quarterfinals at the ITA National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships in Columbus, Ohio.
AS A JUNIOR IN 2006-07 Earned All-America honors in singles and doubles play to become UF's fourth four-time All-American…Finished the year ranked No. 21 in the ITA singles poll and was third with Jesse Levine in doubles…Was named to the first-team All-SEC squad for the third time in his career… Appeared in the NCAA singles draw for the third-straight season and advanced to the Round of 16 for the second time in his career… Was the number three seed in the NCAA doubles draw with Jesse Levine where the two made it to the quarterfinals before dropping out to the eventual national champions (Marco Born and Andres Siljestrom of Middle Tennessee State)… Led the team in singles and doubles wins with 30-9 and 23-3 records, respectively… Went 18-4 in singles duals and 19-2 in doubles… Was 8-3 (second best on the team with Nestor Briceno) in SEC singles duals and 9-2 (tied for the top mark on the team with Levine) in SEC doubles matches… Owned a 16-6 record against ranked singles opponents and went 10-2 against ranked doubles teams… Appeared on the No. 2 singles court where he went 17-4 and teamed with Levine at the top of the doubles lineup (20-3 overall and 18-2 in duals)
FALL OF 2006 Turned in an impressive fall after entering ranked No. 26 in the ITA preseason singles poll and No. 32 with Nestor Briceno in the doubles…Posted a team-leading 9-3 record in singles and went 2-0 with Briceno in doubles…Began by advancing to the singles Round of 16 at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla…Reeled off six straight victories after that in winning the ITA Southeast Region Indoor Qualifying Tournament in Lexington, KY, to earn a spot at the ITA National Indoor Championships in Columbus, Ohio…Lost in the opening round at the event, but recovered to pick up a win in the consolation draw against Clemson's Clement Reix (No. 16), 7-5, 6-3…Reix was one of six ranked opponents Ouellette defeated in the fall…...Partnered with Briceno at the ITA Southeast Region Indoor Qualifying tournament in Lexington, KY, where the two picked up a pair of wins before withdrawing from the event.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2005-06 Ended season ranked 41 in the Final ITA National Singles…Was an All-SEC First Team honoree for second straight season…Went 17-8 in singles action and 14-6 in dual matches…Was 14-12 in doubles play and was 13-11 in dual matches…Went 13-2 on the number two singles court…Played on the top court, where he went 1-5…Made second straight appearance in the NCAA singles draw and advanced to the Round of 32 before dropping a 7-6 (4), 2-6, 7-5 decision to then-No. 5 Ludovic Walter of Duke…Defeated then-No. 1 ranked Lars Poerschke (6-4, 6-2) to help the Gators snap Baylor's 61-match win streak in Waco, Texas….Was the SEC Player of the Week (Jan. 31, 2006) …Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll.
FALL OF 2005 Checked in higher than any Gator at No. 14 in the preseason ITA singles poll and No. 18 in doubles with Janne Holmia…Made only appearance of the fall at the ITA Southeast Regional in Memphis, where he won two matches in advancing to the Round of 16…Also, paired with Holmia at the event to make it into the same round as the two went 1-1 overall.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2004-05 One of nine players nationally and one of two freshmen in the nation to earn All-America honors in singles and doubles play…Was named the SEC Freshman of the Year and gained SEC First-Team distinction…Garnered Wilson/ITA Southeast Region Newcomer of the Year laurels…Ended his first season in Gainesville ranked No. 35 in the ITA singles poll and No. 9 (with Hamid Mirzadeh) in doubles play…Posted a 39-10 overall singles record, which led the team in victories and ranked as the third-highest single-season total in school history…The mark was also the best by any freshman in the history of the UF program…Advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA men's tennis singles draw in College Station, Texas, by defeating then No. 6 Alex Vlaski (Washington) 7-5, 0-6, 6-2; then-No. 72 Stephane Rod (Virginia Tech) 7-6 (4), 7-5, and then-No. 16 Franticek Babej (South Alabama), 6-4, 2-6, 7-5...Dropped a 6-4, 6-2 decision to Baylor's eventual national champion Benedikt Dorsch in the quarterfinal round…Played at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots in the singles lineup where he became the first player under Florida head coach Andy Jackson to finish the year 11-0 against SEC opponents in dual match play…Was the first freshman in school history to be named SEC Player of the Week on Jan. 25…Matched senior Hamid Mirzadeh with a team-high 10 wins over ranked singles opponents…Won 13 straight dual matches from March 4 vs. LSU to April 16 vs. South Carolina, marking the longest streak of the year by any member of the squad…After rain in Gainesville forced the deciding match to conclude on Saturday morning, Ouellette came away with a 7-6 (7), 6-7 (3), 7-6 (5) decision over No. 68 Antonio Ruiz on court two to help UF edge then-No. 8 Georgia, 4-3…Went 21-18 in doubles competition.
FALL OF 2004 Ranked No. 49 in the preseason ITA doubles poll with Janne Holmia…Finished the fall with a team best 13-2 singles record by percentage and the best doubles record on the squad, 7-1…Spent the majority of the fall teamed with Holmia as the two posted a doubles record of 6-1…Became the fourth Gator in school history to win the Southern Intercollegiate Championship after Georgia's Strahinja Bobusic withdrew due to injury…Advanced to the Round of 32 in singles play at the ITA All-American…Paired with Holmia at the ITA Southeast Regional where the two advanced to the championship match before being defeated by LSU's Ken Skupski and Mark Growcott, 8-5….Posted a 3-0 singles record at the Gator Invitational, which was the first tournament of his collegiate career.
PREP Attended Sagemont High School…Ranked No. 15 in the USTA singles rankings and he won the 2002 Orange Bowl World Junior Doubles Championship…Paired with Eric Riley in August of 2003 at the Super National Hard Courts in Kalamazoo, Mich. as the two advanced to the finals of the doubles competition.
