FALL OF 2007 Ranked No. 91 in the ITA preseason singles poll…Finished the fall with an 8-5 overall singles record and went 6-3 in doubles…Six doubles wins led all Gators…Advanced to the consolation quarterfinals at the Fluitt Invitational in Lexington, Ky., with a 7-6(7), 1-6, 7-6 (4) victory over Boise State's fifth-ranked Luke Shields…Advanced to the Round of 32 at the ITA Southeast Regional by posting a 3-6, 6-1, 6-0 decision over Tennessee's Will Lang at the event also held in Lexington, Ky…Paired with Alex Lacroix in doubles and the two went 4-2 during the fall campaign, which included a run to the quarterfinals as the ITA Southeast Regional.
AS A JUNIOR IN 2006-07 Was named to the All-SEC second team after finishing 24-12 overall on the singles courts and 12-12 in the doubles…Had a 16-6 dual match mark in single and was 11-11 in doubles where he paired with Geoffrey Barton for much of the season on the number three court…Defeated three ranked singles opponents…Went 8-3 in singles matches against SEC opponents, which tied Greg Ouellette for second-best among all Gators…Clinched Florida's 4-3 win against Alabama in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament and also clinched the 4-3 win over then-No. 2 Baylor in Gainesville on Feb. 4.
FALL OF 2006 Entered the preseason ITA poll at No. 45 in singles and No. 32 in doubles with Greg Ouellette…Finished the fall 7-5 in singles play and 2-0 on the doubles courts…Two wins over ranked singles opponents were the second-highest total among all Gators…Advanced to the Division I quarterfinals of the Southern Intercollegiate to begin the fall…Also, made it to the consolation draw quarterfinals at the ITA All-American Championships held in Tulsa in Oct...Teamed with Ouellette at the ITA Southeast Region Indoor Qualifying tournament in Lexington, KY, where the two picked up a pair of wins before withdrawing from the event.
AS A SOPHOMORE in 2005-06 Finished the 2006 season ranked No. 69 in the final ITA national rankings…Earned first-team All-SEC honors for the first time in his career with a 10-1 record in singles against league opponents…Went 23-8 overall in singles and 16-5 in dual match play…Appeared at No. 3, 4, and 5 positions in the singles order, owning a 9-3 record on court three and a 6-2 mark on court four…Went 15-19 in doubles play overall and 10-15 in dual matches…Knocked off eight ranked opponents in singles play, which was the second-highest total on the squad…Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll.
FALL OF 2005 Ranked No. 81 in the preseason ITA single poll…Went 4-2 in singles competition and 4-3 in doubles play…Had a team-best showing at the Southern Intercollegiate as he picked up three victories on his way to the semifinal round before being edged by Ole Miss' No. 110-ranked Eric Claesson, 4-6, 7-6, 7-5…Paired with Stefan Tell in doubles to make it to the same round in doubles before being edged by Georgia Tech's Scott Blackmon and Zachary Roth, 9-8 (5) …The pair also made it to the Round of 16 of the Division I doubles draw at the ITA Southeast Indoor Regional where they fell short to Georgia's 24th-ranked Strahinja Bobusic an Colin Purcell, 8-5.
AS A FRESHMAN in 2004-05 Finished the year with a 32-14 overall singles record and went 18-9 in dual match play…Played at the No. 4 spot in the singles order where he went 17-6 in duals…Had 32 overall singles victories to tie Ryan Sherry for the eight highest single season total in school history; the total was the third highest by a Gator freshman…Won nine of his last 10 singles matches to close out the year…Went 14-8 in doubles play, including an 8-5 dual record.
FALL OF 2004 Checked in at No. 102 in the preseason ITA singles poll…Completed the fall with a 13-4 singles record and went 4-4 in doubles play…Advanced farther than any member of the team at the ITA All-American in Chattanooga, Tenn. as he posted a 5-2 record at the event to advance to the Round of 16 where he was defeated by Harvard's 25th-ranked Jonathan Chu (6-4, 6-4)…Won all three singles matches at the Gator Invitational and the Bulldog Scramble.
PREP Graduated from American High School…Ranked No. 1 by the USTA in the 14-and-under and 16-and-under age groups…Also, was ranked No. 2 by the USTA in the 18-and-under group…Won the Clay Court Nationals and finished as the runner-up in 18-and-under and 14-and-under, respectively…Took top honors at the Easter Bowl Super Nationals in the 14-and-under age group and finished in second in the 18-and-under...Was a finalist at the Eddie Herr (under 18) tournament)…Was also a finalist at the USTA National Clay Court championship in 1999…Represented the USA in the World Youth Cup in Slovania…Ranked as high as No. 30 by the ITF and No. 890 by the ATP.
