National/International Competition: Competed at the 2012 Olympics for Canada…Finished eighth in the 200 back with a time of 2:09.86…Broke her own Canadian record in the 200m backstroke at the 2012 Olympic Trials in Montreal with a 2:08.04... Earned her highest career international finish, placing seventh in the 200 back (2:10.46) at the 2013 FINA World Championships in Barcelona, Spain … Also finished ninth in the 100 back (1:00.37) after going 1:00.17 in prelims at Worlds … Participated in the 2011 FINA World Championships in Shanghai, China where she set the Canadian record in both the 100 and 200 back. Was a finalist in two events at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi…A member of the Pan Pacific team and World Championship teams.

 

At Florida

2013-14:

Earned maximum seven All-American honors for the second year in a row, which led all Gators on the year … Delivered a fourth place swim in the 200 backstroke in a time of 1:51.65 … Finished 10th in the 100 backstroke in a time of 51.82 … Swam on all five of Florida’s top-10 relays and on four UF relays that set school records (200 FR, 400 FR, 200 MR, 400 MR) … Helped the Gators to 3rd in the 200 medley relay (1:35.42), fourth in the 400 medley relay (3:29.67), fifth in the 400 free relay (3:12.44), eighth in the 800 free relay (7:03.83) and ninth in the 200 free relay (1:27.54) … At the SEC Championships, picked up the silver medal in the 200 back in a time of 1:51.84 … Also earned the bronze in the 100 back, stopping the clock at a season best 51.69 … Also took seventh in the 200 freestyle in 1:45.80 …Swam on a trio of bronze medal relays (200 MR, 400 FR, 800 FR) at SECs … Set her career best of 1:44.46 in the 200 free and her season low in the 200 back (1:51.44) at the Ohio State Invitational …  Won nine individual events and 15 relays events in dual and invitational competition.

 

2012-13: Earned seven All-America honors to tie for the most on the team…Grabbed two top-eight finishes with second in the 100 back posting a personal-best time of 51.46 and sixth in the 200 back (1:51.80)…Also swam on all five of the UF relays, including the school recording setting 400 free relay (3:12.96)…Claimed a second place finish in the 200 back  with a personal-best time of 1:50.84,  after finishing third in the 100 back (51.95), took fifth in the 200 free clocking another personal-best 1:44.54...Also was a part of all three relays that set new school records, swam a personal-best 100 free split (48.64) to lead off the 400 free relay, led off with the 100 back in the 200 medley relay and was part of the 800 free relay...Won the 100 back (54.10), finished second in the  200 IM in a personal-best 2:00.83 and third in the 200 free (1:45.21) to help propel the Gators to a win over No. 2 Tennessee...Grabbed a second place finish in the 100 back clocking a time of 54.45 and was fourth in the 200 back (1:58.03) at Auburn...Swept the sprint free events with wins in the 50 free (23.71) and 100 free (50.66) against Florida Atlantic to be named SEC Female Freshman Swimmer of the Week...Won the 100 back in a meet record time of 52.80, took third in the 200 back (1:53.20), 11th in the 200 free (1:47.53) and was part of the first place 200 medley relay that set a meet record at the Ohio State Invitational...Finished second in the 100 back (56.01) and seventh in the 100 Free (52.39) at Florida State...Secured her first victory as a Gator at the All-Florida Invitational winning both the 200 free (1:49.19) and 100 back (54.57).

 

Prior to Florida: Attended Burlington Central High School…A member of the Dolphins Swim Club in Oakville.
