All-America Award Winner…Took fifth as a member of the 200 freestyle relay at
the SEC Championships, swimming a 22.31 split, and tenth in the 50 free
clocking in at 22.77…Finished second and recorded personal-best times in both
the 100 fly and 100 free at the Georgia Last Chance Meet with marks of 54.50
and 50.00, respectively…Clinched her first individual victories in the 50 free
(collegiate-best, 23.49) and 100 fly (56.36) titles in the victory over Indian
River State College…Against Tennessee, finished third in the 50 free touching
in 23.64 and as a member of the 200 FR, swimming the last leg in 23.09…In the
win over Florida Atlantic, captured second in the 50 free (24.34) and 100 fly
(57.34) and as a member of both the 200 medley and 200 free relay
teams…Competed in three consecutive meets for the Gators as a member of one or
more relay teams, collecting two second-place and third-place finishes,
including an NCAA “A” Cut in the 200 FR against rival Florida State…Opened her
freshman campaign at the All-Florida Invitational clocking in a NCAA “A” Cut as
a member of the first-place 200 FR team, capturing two second-place finishes as
a part of both the 400 and 800 FR teams and finishing fourth individually in
the 100 fly (56.74).
