National/International Competition: Qualified for the 2012 USA Olympic Trials in five events (200 back, 100 back, 200 IM, 400 IM and 100 fly) with top finishes in the 200 backstroke (ninth) and 100 backstroke (17th)… Competed at the USA Swimming Grand Prix in Minneapolis, Minn., with the Verona Aquatics Club…Member of the NCSA Junior National Team…Selected to the 2011 USA Swimming National Youth Team…Traveled to Japan as a member of the NCSA All Star team in the fall of 2011 to compete in a dual meet against the Japanese Junior National Team…Finished second at this year’s USA Swimming Long Course Junior Nationals in the 200 back (2:13.14) and fourth in the 100 back, finishing seventh overall in high point

 

At Florida

2013-14:

Competed at the Southeastern Conference Championships … Earned a second swim in the 400 individual medley, finishing in 22nd after a time of 4:17.20 … Also swam at night in the 200 butterfly at SECs, finishing 21st in 1:59.63 … Won the 100 butterfly against Florida Atlantic … Competed at the Ohio State Invitational, All Florida Invitational, Bulldog Last Chance Meet … Set her career best in the 400 IM at Ohio State meet, stopping the clock in 4:15.77 … Registered her 200 fly season low of 1:58.91 against Tennessee … Went a season low 2:02.13 at the Ohio State Invite … At the Last Chance Meet, delivered her career low swim of 54.15 in the 100 fly.

 

2012-13: Recorded two personal-best times at the 2013 Bulldog Last Chance Meet, clocking in at 54.68 in the 100 fly and 2:01.92 in the 200 IM…Finished 16th with a personal-best time of 4:16.33 in the 400 IM, 23rd in the 200 back also setting a personal-best with a time of 1:57.40 and was 34th in the 200 IM (2:01.92) at the 2013 SEC Championships…Took fifth in the 200 IM (2:05.57), sixth in the 200 back (2:01.83) and seventh in the 100 back (56.99)…Had a pair of seventh place finishes in the 100 back (57.67) and 200 back (2:05.33) at Auburn…Claimed a victory in the 200 back touching first in a time of 2:03.93 and then took second in the 100 back (58.23) against Florida Atlantic…At the Ohio State Invitational, finished eighth in the 400 IM (4;16.33), 14th in the 200 back (1:58.87), 20th in the 200 IM (2:03.92) and 27th in the 200 fly clocking a personal-best 2:02.80…Also set a personal-best time in the 100 back in lead off leg of the 400 medley relay…Came in fifth in the 200 back (2:03.17) and seventh in the 100 back (58.70) at Florida State…Was sixth in the both the 200 back (2:05.07) and 100 back (57.64) against Texas A&M…In the win at South Carolina, finished fifth in the 200 fly (2:06.11) and the 200 IM (2:08.64) and was seventh in the 50 free (25.22)…Took sixth in the 100 back (58.95) and seventh in the 200 back (2:03.87) at Georgia…Made collegiate debut with a third place finish in the 400 IM (4:23.14) and personal-best times in the 200 free (1:55.08) and 500 free (5:01.75).

 

Prior to Florida: Attended Verona Area High School and was a member of the Verona Aquatic Club where she was coached by Randy Trowbridge…No. 1 ranked recruit out of Wisconsin…Nominated for Wisconsin’s 2011 Senior Female Swimmer of the Year Award…Won all six of her events at the state meet and was the high point winner…Set four 17-18 state records in the 200 fly, 200 back, 100 back and 200 IM…Swam four times in the nations top-10 for 17 year old females: 4th in 200 back, 5th in 200 IM, 6th in 100 back and 8th in 100 fly…Chose Florida over UNC-Charlotte, Tennessee and LSU…Parents Roger and Sheila Kuhn, has two siblings Sommer (21) and Slader (17).
