National/International Competition: Swam at the 2010 Pan-Pacific Junior
Championship in Maui, Hawaii, placing 13th in the 200 IM, 15th
in the 400 free, 24th in the 200 free and 25th in the 100
free…Owns the Canadian age group record in the women’s 13-14 200 IM.
2011-12: Picked up the first All-America honor of her career as a member
of the 800 Free Relay team that finished sixth at the NCAA Championships…Earned
All-SEC honors in her first SEC Championship appearance after contributing to
the second-place 800y freestyle relay team, and named to the SEC All-Freshman
Team after her performance in the 200y free…Finished seventh in the 200y free
(1:47.41), 19th in the 200y IM (2:01.41) and 20th in the 100y free (50.27) in
her first conference championship appearance…Swam the fastest 100y (50.27) and
200y free (1:46.49) by a Gator freshman on the year…Finished third in the 200m
free (2:03.45), fifth in the 100m free (58.10) and was a member of the 400m
freestyle relay that took second in Florida’s win over Auburn…Against FAU,
touched second in the 200y free (1:49.38) and third in the 500y free
(4:59.45)…At the Georgia Tech Invitational, finished second in the 200y free
with a personal-best effort of 1:46.49 out of 64 other swimmers…In the Gators’
double-dual victory over Michigan and Stanford, finished 8th in the 100m free
(52.48)…Took second in the 200y free (1:49.96) and fourth in the 100y free
(51.36) in the win over rival, FSU…Against Georgia added points with a fifth-
and seventh-place effort in the 200m (2:08.37) and 100m free (59.98),
respectively…Finished fourth in both the 50y (24.19) and 500y free (5:01.78) in
her SEC debut against LSU…In her first collegiate meet, took third in the 200y
free (1:50.15) and sixth in the 100y free (51.64) at the All-Florida
Invitational…Helped
lead head coach Gregg Troy to his 12th consecutive top-10 finish at
NCAA’s.
