2011-12: Recorded two, top-10 finishes at the
2012 SEC Championships, appearing in one championship and one consolation
final, after she touched fifth in the 100 free (48.95), ninth in the 100 fly
(53.83) and added an 18th-place effort in the 50 free (22.91)…Won
the 200m free in 2:01.96, finished third in the 100m fly (1:01.57) and helped
the 200m medley and 400m freestyle relay to second-place finishes in the win
over Auburn…At the Georgia Tech Invitational, finished eighth in the 200 free
(1:50.41) and was part of the 200 free and medley relay that finished first and
second to help the Gators to their first ever first-place finish at the invitational…Finished
10th and 11th against Michigan and Stanford in the 100y
free (53.34) and 50m free (27.72), respectively…Touched third in both the 100
fly (56.69) and 200 free (1:50.59) and fourth in the 50 free (23.69) against
FSU…Took third in the 100m fly (1:03.49) and finished sixth in the 50m free
(27.66) against Georgia…Collected two top-10 finishes at the Dallas Classic,
taking ninth in the 100 fly (56.96) and 10th in the 200 fly
(2:07.33). Also a part of the 200 free, 800 free and 200 medley relays that
finished one, two, three, respectively…Against Arkansas, finished third in the
500 free (24.09), fifth in the 200 back (2:05.94) and contributed to two
second-place relays…Opened SEC competition against LSU with a third-place
finish in the 200 fly (2:05.00)…Recorded personal-best swims in the 500 free
(4:57.53) and 200 back (2:03.71) at the All-Florida Invitational.
2010-11: A three-time All-American following
her performance as a member of the 200 medley relay and both the 200 and 400
freestyle relay teams…Swam the third leg in all three relay events (200 MR, 200
FR, 400 FR) to lead her team to 9th, 15th and 12th
place, respectively…Made her first individual SEC Championships appearance in
the 100 and 50 free finishing 15th and 16th,
respectively. Also, swam as a member of the 200 MR team that finished fourth,
with a 23.56 split…Captured the 100 free (51.68) title and contributed to the
first-place 400 MR team in the win over Indian River State College…Part of the
200 MR team that recorded five consecutive top-three finishes, including wins
against Georgia Tech and Tennessee…Won the 100 fly (56.63) and finished third
in both the 100 back (56.83) and 100 free (52.87) against Florida Atlantic…Swam
to a first-place finish in the 200 free, clocking in at 1:50.40…Racked up three
individual victories at the Big Al Open, including her first collegiate victory
in the 100 fly (53.75), and recorded personal bests in both the 100 free
(49.61) and 200 fly (1:59.42). Also finished third in the 50 free, touching in
23.07…Took seventh out of 86 competitors at the Georgia Tech Invite in the 100
fly (55.37)...Led the Gators’ 200 MR team to a third-place finish in her
collegiate debut at the All-Florida Invitational… Helped lead head coach Gregg
Troy to his 11th consecutive top-10 finish at NCAA’s.
Prior to Florida: Graduated from Nunawading Academy, where she trained under head coach Rohan Taylor…Competed at the 2009 Australian Youth Olympic
Festival and 2009 Pan Pacific Championships...Also competed at the 2007 Junior
Pan Pacific Championships and 2007 Australian Youth Olympic Festival…Won six
gold medals and two silver medals at the 2006 Australian Age Championships,
breaking four Australian records.
