2011-12: Named to the 2012 SEC Academic Honor
Roll…Against Tennessee, swam to two sixth-place finishes in the 100 and 200
breast with times of 1:04.00 and 2:17.50, respectively...Finished eighth in
both the 100- and 200-meter breast with 1:18.20 and 2:48.48 efforts,
respectively, in the win over Auburn…Took second in the 100 breast (1:06.29)
and third in the 200 breast (2:21.85) against FAU…Finished the Georgia Tech
Invitational with a top-10 finish, touching ninth in the 200 breast
(2:20.87)…In the win over rival FSU, stopped the clock at 2:22.74 in the 200
breast for a sixth-place effort…Against top-ranked Georgia, finished sixth in
both the 100m and 200m breast with times of 1:16.71 and 2:43.54,
respectively…Opened SEC competition against LSU with a second-place effort in
the 200 free (1:50.83) and touching third in the 200 breast (2:20.22)…Made her
sophomore debut at the All-Florida Invitational.
2010-11: Named a CSCAA Honorable Mention Scholar
All-America Award Winner…Swam in 12 meets for the Gators as a freshman…Finished
second in both the 400 IM with a personal-best 4:15.42 and 200 breast, touching
in 2:14.09 at the UGA Last Chance Meet…In the win over Indian River State
College took second in the 500 free (5:02.80)…Helped lead the 200 medley relay
to a first-place finish, swimming the second leg of the relay in a 30.17
split…Captured second in both the 100 breast and 400 IM against Georgia Tech,
clocking in at 1:05.39 and 4:26.41, respectively…Swam the second leg of the 200
MR, with a 29.53 split, that came in third place against Florida State…Made her
collegiate debut at the All-Florida Invitational swimming the 100 (1:06.81) and
200 breast (2:20.86) finishing seventh and fourth, respectively.
Prior to Florida: Graduated from
Centennial High School in Roswell, Ga., where she served at the team
captain…Trained with Swim Atlanta under head coach Mark Minier…The
2009 Georgia state champion in the 100 breast…Earned High School All-America
honors in the 100 breast and 200 IM…A three-time Georgia All-State Team
selection…A member of the National Honors Society.
