National/International Competition: Swam at the 2009 U.S.
Nationals/World Trials…Took 15th overall in the 200 IM (2:15.80) and
400 IM (4:49.52) and placed 31st in the 200 back (2:16.98) and 22nd
in the 200 breast (2:33.92) after swimming an even quicker 2:32.72 in
breaststroke prelims…Achieved five 2008 Olympic Trials cuts…Placed 15th
at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials in Omaha in the 200-meter IM…Eight Senior
Nationals cuts…Member and captain of the 2006 USA Junior National team …Holds
the North Carolina state records in the 200 free and 200 and 400 IM
events…Placed sixth at the 2007 Spring Nationals in the 200 IM.

2012 NCAA Championships with a 4:13.59…Touched in a personal, textile-best
4:09.63 during the preliminary heat at NCAAs…Swam to a seventh-place finish in
the 200y IM (1:59.00), eighth-place effort in the 400y IM (4:14.31) and
19th-place finish in the 200y breast (2:15.36) to make an appearance in two of
her three races, championship finals at the 2012 SEC Championships…Recorded a
personal-best 51.71 swim in the 100y free against Tennessee…Finished fifth in
both the 100m back (1:08.45) and 200m IM (2:24.92) in the win over Auburn…Swam
the 100y free against FAU, touching in 52.66 for third…Claimed two top-10
finishes in the double-dual victory over Michigan and Stanford, taking fourth
in the 200y breast (2:20.20) and ninth in the 200m IM (2:25.51)…Finished
seventh in the 200m back (2:27.24) against Georgia…Collected another two top-10
finishes at the Dallas Classic when she stopped the clock at 1:50.74 for eighth
in the 200y free and 4:56.61, a personal-best, for tenth in the 500y free…Won
the 400y IM against Arkansas, touching in 4:20.48 and recorded a career-fast
1:05.97 swim in the 100y breast…Finished two-three in the 100y back (58.19,
personal best) and 500y free (4:57.59), respectively…Helped lead head coach
Gregg Troy to his 12th consecutive top-10 finish at NCAA’s.
2010-11: 2011 SEC Honor Roll Recipient…Received
her first two NCAA All-American award with a 15th place finish in
the 400 IM (4:09.93), and as a member of the 11th place
400-yard free relay team that finished in 3:16.54, tied for the seventh-fastest
time in school history…Picked up two top-10 performances and NCAA “B” cut times
at the 2011 SEC Championships with a seventh in the 400 (4:10.56) and 10th
in the 200 (1:57.88) individual medley events, also finished 13th in
the 200 breast (2:14.43)…Took home second in the 100 free (52.31) against
Indian River State College…Posted an NCAA “B” cut 4:19.49 to take second in the
400 IM against Tennessee…Finished second in the 200 free (1:52.11) in the win
over Florida Atlantic…Captured her first individual victory of the season and
set a personal-best in the 500 free (4:55.27) against Georgia Tech…Finished
ninth in the 400 IM at the Georgia Tech Invitational in a field of 63
swimmers…Against Stanford and Michigan gathered four third-place finishes in
the 200 breast (2:19.18) and 200 free (1:52.09), and as a member of the 200 and
400 medley relay teams…Swam the first leg of the 800 FR that posted a winning
NCAA “A” cut 7:24.82 at the All-Florida Invitational…Helped lead head coach
Gregg Troy to his 11th consecutive top-10 finish at NCAA’s.
2009-10: A member of the 2010 NCAA Championship
squad…A 2010 CSCAA Scholar All-American that was also named to the 2010 SEC
Academic Honor Roll…Swam a team season-high 2:14.55 in the 200-yard
breaststroke at the 2010 NCAA Championships…Placed third in the 200-yard
backstroke (2:03.19) in the victory against Tennessee…Placed fourth in the 200
breast (2:21.44) in the win vs. Auburn and fourth in the same event (2:20.61)
in the win vs. Florida Atlantic…Finished third in the 200-yard freestyle
(1:51.92) in the triumph over Florida Atlantic…Took third in the 200-yard IM
(2:03.05), fourth in the 200-yard butterfly (2:02.06) and finished fifth with a
personal-best 1:50.71 in the 200-yard freestyle in the win against Florida
State…Placed third in the 400 IM (4:19.47) at the Georgia Tech Invite…Finished
third in the 400 IM (4:22.13) and fifth in the 200 back (2:02.98) in the
double-dual meet vs. Michigan and Stanford.
2008-09: A 2009 CSCAA Scholar All-American that
was also named to the 2009 SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll…Earned two Freshman
All-SEC honors as the highest freshman finisher in both the 200 & 400 IM
races…A 2009 NCAA qualifier and competitor for the Gators…Finished 18th
in the 400 IM (4:10.64), 22nd in the 200-yard IM (1:58.22) and 35th
in the 200 breast (2:12.89) at the 2009 NCAA meet in College Station, Texas…Her
mark in the 200 breast at NCAAs was a season-best and the fastest for the
Gators all season…Placed third in the 400 IM (4:08.65) at the 2009 SEC
Championship meet, while also taking eighth in the 200 breast (2:14.07) and
ninth in the 200 IM (1:58.31) at SECs as Florida won the 2009 SEC Championship
crown…Swam a total of 13 invitationals and duals for
the Gators during her freshman campaign…Highlights came against Tennessee,
where she swam a season-best 100 back (57.70)…Finished 33rd in the
200 IM at the 2008 U.S. Short Course Nationals…Took third in the 200 breast in
the dual win at Auburn (2:19.77), while also clocking a season best 1:51.52 in
the 200 free against the Tigers…Ended the dual meet season by changing up her
events and swimming the 500 free in the win over IRSC/FGCU, where she clocked a
4:56.58.
Prior to Florida: The 2006-07 North
Carolina High School High School Swimmer of the Year…A four-time High School
State Champion in the 200 IM and 500 free…High School State MVP Swimmer all
four years of high school…High School All-American in the 200 IM, 500 free and
100 free…High school coach was Mike Morey.
