National/International Competition: Member of the Tunisian
National Team…Won a silver medal in the 400 free (4:20.75), 100 breast
(1:12.54) and 200 breast (2:34.17) at the 2011 All-Africa Games in Maputo. Also
finished fourth in the 400m medley at the games (4:55.40)…Captured eight medals
and set two Tunisian records at the 10th Senior African Swimming
Championships in Casablanca, Morocco…Swam in the 2010 Pan Pacific Games in
Irvine, Calif., taking 14th in the 200 breast (2:34.40) and 400 IM
(4:55.90), 15th in the 100 Breast (1:11.05), 16th in the
50 breast (33.50) and 33rd in the 200 free (2:06.16)…Participated in
the 2009 FINA World Championships in Rome Italy, the 2009 Mediterranean games
in Pescara, Italy and the 2008 World Swimming Championships in
Manchester…French Junior Champion in the 200-meter breast and 200-meter
IM in 2008….Received seven medals in the African Championships in
Johannesburg in December 2008.
At Florida
2011-12: Finished the 100 breast in 1:02.01 for
14th, 200 IM in a career-best 2:00.95 for 15th and 200
breast in 2:15.42 for 16th at the 2012 SEC Championships, make the
consolation finals in each of her events…Took second in the 200m breast
(2:35.89) and 3rd in the 100m breast (1:13.54) in Florida’s win over
Auburn…Won the 100 breast in 1:05.17 and touched second in the 400 IM (4:24.51,
personal best) against FAU…Stopped the clock in 2:21.51 in the 200 breast to
help Florida win it’s double dual against Michigan and Stanford for
seventh…Against rival FSU, finished second in the 200 (2:19.32) and fifth in
the 100 (1:06.01) breast…Finished seven-eight in the 100m (1:16.92) and 200m
(2:45.22) breast, respectively, against Georgia…Finished sixth in the 100
breast in back-to-back meets against LSU (1:08.15) and Arkansas
(1:05.50)…Opened her junior season with a fourth-place effort in the 200 breast
(2:18.81) at the All-Florida Invitational.
2010-11: Selected as a 2011 CSCAA Division
I Scholar All-America Award Winner…2011 SEC Academic Honor Roll
member...Finished the 200 breast in a personal-best 2:10.66, and 100 breast in
at 1:01.22 for a fourth- and 10th-place performance, respectively at
the SEC Championships…swam the last leg of the 800 free relay team that
captured first, and finished third in the 200 free (1:53.56) in the victory
over Indian River State College…Took a third place finish in the 200 breast
against Tennessee, touching in 2:14.57…Swam the 400 IM in 4:32.95 against
Georgia Tech for third place…In the double-dual meet against Stanford and
Michigan finished second in the 100 breast (1:05.76) and swam as a member of
the 200 and 400 medley relay that came in second and third, respectively…Took
home her first victory of the season against Virginia in the 200 breast when
she clocked in at 2:18.25…Opened the season at the All-Florida Invitational
with a second- and fifth-place individual finish in the 200 (2:18.97) breast
and 400 IM (4:26.57), respectively.
2009-10: A 2010 CSCAA Scholar All-American
Honorable Mention…Swam personal bests in the 100 breast (1:03.50) and 200
breasts (2:16.56) in exhibition times at the 2010 SEC Championships… Placed
second in the 200 breast (2:19.08) in the win over Auburn… Won the 200 breast
in victories over Florida Atlantic (2:18.65) and LSU (2:19.43)…Took second in
the 200 breast (2:18.85) and third in the 100 breast (1:04.78) in the win
against Florida State…Placed third in the 200 breast (2:20.84) and fourth in
the 100 breast (1:05.67) in the double-dual meet against Arkansas and Kansas.
