National/International Competition: Chosen to represent the United States’ on its 2011 FINA World Championship Team in Shanghai, China…Finished tied for 14th in the 200-meter fly at the international competition, clocking in at 2:09.27…Took home the silver medal in the 200 fly at the 2010 Pan Pacific Championships – the largest international meet of 2010…Captured the B finals of the 400-meter IM (4:52.05), placed 18th in the 800 free (9:01.97) and took second in the C finals of the 200 IM (2:20.72) at the 2011 Charlotte Grand prix in Charlotte, N.C….Captured a silver medal in the 200 fly with a personal-best 2:06.93 at the 2010 Pan Pacific Games in Irvine, Calif… Recorded career bests in the 200 free (1:59.83), 200 IM (2:13.48) and 400 IM (4:41.87) at the 2010 U.S. Nationals in Irvine, Calif… Competed at the 2009 U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis, Ind….Took eighth (2:12.69) in the 200 back,  10th in the 400-meter IM (4:47.85), 12th in the 200 fly (2:12.48) and 14th in the 200 IM (2:15.63) in Indianapolis…Also placed 30th in the 100 back (1:03.70), 40th in the 100-meter fly (1:01.92) and 43rd in the 200-meter free (2:02.99) at 2009 U.S. Nationals…Placed first in the 200 backstroke at the 2007 Pan-American games, setting the record in the event … Silver medalist in the 400 IM at the 2007 Pan-Am Games … A member of the 2007 National Team … Was the Kiphuth Highpoint Winner … A member of the National record-breaking 400 freestyle relay in 2006 … A 2006 Junior National Team Member … Additionally a 2006 Pan Pacific Team Member.

2011-12: 2012 SEC Academic Honor Roll Selection…Earned a team-high six All-America honors for her efforts at the 2012 NCAA Division I Swimming and Diving Championships with individual performances in the 200 back, 200 fly, 400 IM and as a member of both the 200 and 400 free and 400 medley relay team…Totaled 38 points at the 2012 NCAA Championships, to place eighth out of all female swimmers at the meet…Made three individual trips to the medal stand at the 2012 SEC Championships taking silver in the 200 fly (1:55.16) and bronze in both the 200 back (1:53.87) and 400 IM (3:45.86) – additionally, was part of the second-place 800 freestyle relay team, receiving two All-SEC honors…Named the SEC Female Swimmer of the Week for the first time of her career after her efforts against Georgia where she led the women’s squad with three first-place touches in the 200m fly (2:14.79), 200m back (2:16.85) and 400m IM (4:50.28)…Key contributor on relays, as eight of the relays she swam on the year touched first in their respective events…Finished first in the 200m fly (2:13.44) and second in both the 200m back (2:16.46) and 200m IM (2:21.81) in her last home meet as a Florida Gator in the win over Auburn…Totaled three third-place finishes at the Georgia Tech Invitational in the 200 back (1:57.10) 200 IM (2:00.99) and 400 IM (4:14.61)…Recorded three top-three finishes in the double dual against Michigan and Stanford, touching first in the 200y fly (2:00.04), second in the 200y back (1:58.71) and third in the 200m IM (2:21.52)…Finished one-two in the 200y (1:59.35) and 100y (56.60) fly, respectively, in Florida’s dominating win over FSU…Took home two 200y back victories in back-to-back meets against LSU (2:01.02) and Arkansas (1:58.37) to open SEC competition…Opened her senior campaign with three individual wins at the All-Florida Invitational, touching first in the 200y back (1:57.32), 200y fly (1:58.54) and 400y IM (4:13.24) …Helped lead head coach Gregg Troy to his 12th consecutive top-10 finish at NCAA’s.


2010-11:
Named to the Capital One Academic All-District At-Large Second Team…A 2011 SEC Academic Honor Roll Selection…Selected as a 2011 CSCAA Division I Scholar All-America Award Winner…Nabbed four All-America honors at the 2011 NCAA Championships in Austin, Texas in the 200 back (1:51.61), 200 fly (1:54.37), 400 IM (4:05.36) and as a member of the 800-yard free style relay…had three top-eight individual finishes at NCAA’s in the 200 back, 200 fly and 400 IM – came in fourth, sixth and seventh place, respectively… holds eight career All-SEC selections after earning one First Team mention in the 200 fly and two Second Team mentions for her performance in the 200 back and 800 freestyle relay following her 2010-11 campaign…Claimed her second-career SEC title when she captured the 200-yard fly championship  with the third fastest time in the country to date (1:53.95) in her home pool in Gainesville, Fla.… Also grabbed two silver medals with her performance in the 200 back (1:51.71) and contribution in the Gators’ record-breaking 800-yard freestyle relay (6:53.58) as well as a bronze medal in the 400 IM (4:07.25) at the SEC Championships…holds the team’s season-best performance in the 200 fly (1:53.95) with her first place finish at the SEC Championships...holds two top-five times in the SEC regular season with her first place finishes in the 200 back at Auburn on Jan. 21 (1:56.43) and in the 200 fly against Virginia on Oct. 11 (1:59.27)…member of the 800-yard FR team that holds the school record in the event (6:59.10) and second best time in SEC regular-season competition with a 7:11.99 mark at the Georgia Tech Invitational in Athens, Ga.…finished her junior year with six individual and five relay victories…nominated by USA Swimming for the Golden Goggle Awards as the 2010 Breakout Performer of the Year...Helped lead head coach Gregg Troy to his 11th consecutive top-10 finish at NCAA’s.

2009-10: Named to the 2010 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America At-Large team…A 2010 CSCAA Scholar All-American…A 2010 SEC Academic Honor Roll selection…Picked up four All-America honors at the 2010 NCAA Championships in West Lafayette, Ind., in the 400 IM (4:02.91), 200 back (1:50.99) and 200 fly (1:53.90), while contributing to the Gators’ 800-yard freestyle relay…Placed second overall in the 400 IM, third in the 200 back and fifth in the 200-yard fly with career-best swims in all three championships finals races, including her double in the back and fly on the final day of swimming at NCAAs…A four-time 2010 All-SEC selection, bringing her career total to five All-SEC honors after her sophomore year…Was the 2010 400 IM SEC Champion, her first career SEC title…Also took second in the 200 back and 200 fly at the 2010 SEC Championship meet in Athens, Ga., in February…Set career-best marks in seven of her individual events her sophomore campaign with the Gators…Was named the National Collegiate Swimmer of the Week Jan. 26 for her performance in Florida’s victory over Auburn Jan. 22, where she helped send the UF seniors out in a winning fashion with first-place finishes in the 200 fly and 200 back and a second-place swim in the 200 IM, all NCAA provisional marks at the time…Additionally recorded a first-place swim in the 200 fly in the double-dual with Michigan/Stanford (2:00.74)…Helped Florida to 10 dual meet wins for the ninth time in head coach Gregg Troy’s time at UF.

 

2008-09: A 2009 SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll selection…Additionally a 2009 CSCAA Scholar All-American who picked up three All-American honors at the 2009 NCAA Championships in College Station, Texas…Was a part of two unprecedented backstroke sweeps with teammates Gemma Spofforth and Stephanie Proud as the trio took first through third at the SEC and NCAA Championships in the 200 back, Crippen claiming second in both, her NCAA time the second-fastest in school history…Shattered the Florida record in prelims of the 400-yard IM (4:05.00) at NCAAs, finishing sixth (4:06.77) in finals…Took second in the 200 back (1:51.59) and 22nd in the 200 fly (1:56.53)…Also member of the 10th place 800-yard free relay at NCAAs…A major contributor to Florida’s 17th SEC Championship crown, earning an All-SEC honor for her second place 200-yard backstroke finishes…Swam on the third-place 800-yard free relay (7:02.44) at SECs, finished fourth in the 400 IM (4:09.46) and sixth in the 200-yard fly (1:56.81)…Additionally swam in 11 dual meets in her first season with the Gators.

 

Prior to Florida: A high school All-American from eighth grade through 12th grade…Was a high school National Champion her freshman year…Listed in 2007 as part of Sports Illustrated’s “Faces in the Crowd”…Graduated from high school with high honors.
