National/International Competition: Had a career meet at
the 2011 USA Swimming ConocoPhillips National Championships posting career
times in five separate events – 100 free (56.34, 29th), 200 free
(1:59.78, 9th), 400 free (4:14.07, 21st), 800 free
(8:47.61, 23rd) and 200 fly (2:12.10, 22nd)…Finished 19th
in the 200-meter freestyle (2:01.23) and 800 free (8:48.06), 33rd in
the 100 free (56.83) and 41st in the 400-meter freestyle (4:17.97) at
the 2010 US Nationals…Qualified in the 100, 200, and 400-meter free events and
200-meter butterfly at the 2008 Olympic Trials…Finished 7th in the
200 free at the 2008 US Open.

2011-12:
Named to the 2012 SEC Academic
Honor Roll…Collected four All-America honors for the second consecutive year
individually in the 200 free, and as a member of the 200, 400 and 800 freestyle
relay….Recorded three top-10 swims after finishing fourth in both the 200y free
(1:46.09) and 200y fly (1:57.17 – personal best) and sixth in the 500y free
(4:40.63) at the 2012 SEC Championships…Claimed the top-spot in the 400m free
in Florida’s win over Auburn when she touched in 4:17.60, and added a runner-up
finish in the 200m free (2:03.26)…Swept the sprint events against FAU, after
she touched first in the 50y (23.52 – personal best) and 100y (50.45) free…Won
the 1,000y free (9:57.69), finished second in the 400m free in the double-dual
win over Michigan and Stanford…Touched first in both the 200y (1:48.79) and
500y (4:51.59) free in the Gators’ win over the Seminoles…Won the 200m free
(2:04.09) and added two fourth-place efforts in the 100m (58.51) and 400m
(4:19.49) free against No.1 Georgia…Claimed three top-three finishes at the
Dallas Classic, finishing the 500y free in 4:46.94 for first and both the 200y
free and fly in 1:47.98 and 2:00.26, respectively, for second…Recorded a
career-low 9:55.34 1,000y free swim against Arkansas for first…Swept both the
50y (22.52) and 100y (50.47) free in the SEC opener against LSU…Helped lead head
coach Gregg Troy to his 12th consecutive top-10 finish at NCAA’s.
2010-11: Selected as a 2011 CSCAA Division I
Scholar All-America Award Winner…Named to the 2011 SEC Academic Honor
Roll…Claimed four All-America honors at the 2011 NCAA Championships in Austin,
Texas in the 200-yard free, and as a member of the 200-, 400- and 800-yard free
relay teams…In her second NCAA appearance, finished eighth in the “B” final of
the 200-yard free…swam the second leg of the fifth place 800-yard freestyle
relay that now holds the third-quickest time in school history (7:00.89) at
2011 NCAA’s…Earned All-SEC honors for the second consecutive year after she
helped grab a silver medal and break the then school record in the 800 free
relay at the 2011 SEC Championships…Pinned down a fourth, fifth and seventh
place finish at the conference championships in the 500 free (4:39.79), 200
free (1:44.75) and 1,650 free (16:09.95), respectively…Captured dual victories
in the 200 (1:47.10) and 500 free (4:46.89) against Auburn…Won the 1,000 free
in 9:59.60 in the victory over Florida Atlantic…Took home the 200 and 500 free
crowns against Florida State, logging a 1:47.82 and 4:48.72,
respectively…Won her first individual event of the 2010 season against Virginia
in the 500 free (4:49.40).
2009-10: A two-time All-America selection,
picking up her first two career honors in the 400 and 800-yard freestyle
relays…Named to the All-SEC Second Team and All-SEC Freshman Team…A 2010 CSCAA
Scholar All-American…One of two true freshmen to represent the Gators at the
2010 NCAA Championships, helping the Gators to their first national title in 28
years…Swam the anchor leg of the final event at NCAAs, as the Gators needed
fourth-or-better in the 400 free relay to pull off the upset victory for the
national championship…Took fifth in the 200 free (1:46.51), seventh in the 500
free (4:45.45) and 14th in the 1,650 free (16:37.16) at the 2010 SEC
Championships…Took second in the 100 free (51.45) in the win over
Tennessee…Placed second in the 200 free (1:47.12) and 500 free (4:48.33) in the
win over Auburn, while swimming the anchor leg of the first-place 400 free
relay squad (3:20.09)…Captured the 100 free (50.20) in the win over Florida
Atlantic…Placed second in the 100 free in the win over LSU (51.85)… Finished
first in the 200 free (1:47.49), 500 free (4:49.74 and 400 free relay (3:20.26)
in the rivalry win vs. Florida State…Finished fourth in the 200 fly (2:01.09),
seventh in the 100 fly (56.11) and first in the 800 free relay (7:17.23) at the
Georgia Tech Invitational…Took third in the 100 free (51.26) and 200 free
(1:49.16) in the double-dual meet vs. Stanford and Michigan.
Prior to Florida: Tabbed the Gainesville
Sun’s Girls Swimmer of the Decade in September…State Champion in the 100
and 200-yard free …Member of three state-champion relays….2006, 2007 and 2008
Gainesville Sun Swimmer of the Year…A three-time member of the
Pinch-a-Penny All-State Team...Coached at Buchholz High School by Rinaldo Sintjago.
