World Championships, representing her native Estonia, in Rome, Italy…Finished
37th in the 200-meter back (2:17.82) and 44th in the
200-meter IM (2:19.86) at Worlds, while placing 55th in the
100-meter back (1:04.14), 66th (30.49) in the 50-meter
back…Represented Estonia at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing…A Junior
National finalist…National qualifier in 400 IM.
At Florida
2011-12: Finished 13th in the 200 fly
(2:01.66), 23rd in the 100 back (56.43) and 26th in the
100 fly (55.31) at the 2012 SEC Championships….Recorded a career-best
performance in the 10 back (56.43) at the conference championships….Touched
four-five against Tennessee in the 200 (2:01.52) and 100 fly (56.23), respectively…Finished
three-four in Florida against Auburn touching in 2:28.98 for third in the 200m
fly and 1:04.57 for fourth in the 100m fly…Took seventh in the 400 IM (4:22.05)
at the Georgia Tech Invitational…Had a ninth-place effort in the 200 back (2:04.77)
in the double-dual against Michigan and Stanford…Was the 200 fly runner-up
against FSU, clocking in at 1:59.84…Had two top-10 finishes against Georgia,
taking third in the 200m fly (2:19.20) and eighth in the 200m back
(2:29.97)….Had a third-place effort in the 100 fly (56.59) against
Arkansas…Recorded two top-five finishes against LSU, taking second in the 200
fly (2:02.66) and fifth in the 200 breast (2:25.69)…Began her senior campaign
at the All-Florida Invitational with a third-place effort in the 200 fly
(2:01.44).
2010-11: Selected as a 2011 CSCAA Division I
Scholar All-America Honorable Mention…Member of the 2011 SEC Honor Roll…Tallied
two NCAA “B” Cut times at the SEC Championships in the 200 fly (personal-best,
1:58.78) and 400 IM (4:15.45)…Swam the first leg of the 400 MR team that
finished second in the win over Indian River State College…Finished
fourth in the 200 fly (2:02.53) in the victory over Tennessee…Captured the meet
title in both the 200 fly (2:03.71) and 400 IM (4:22.21) against Florida
Atlantic…Highest Florida swimmer in the 200 fly, finishing fourth in 2:04.05,
in the double-dual meet versus Michigan and Stanford…Opened the season with a
third place finish in the 200 fly at the All Florida Invitational., touching
the wall in 2:03.95, to help the Gators sweep the event.
2009-10: A 2010 CSCAA Scholar All-American
honorable mention that was additionally named to the 2010 SEC Academic Honor
Roll…Swam in 13 meets for the Gators…Placed fourth in the 200-yard backstroke (2:03.95)
in the win over Tennessee…Finished fifth by swimming a career-best 56.30 in the
100-yard butterfly in the win over Auburn…Also took fourth in the 200 fly
(2:01.37) at the Auburn meet…Won the 100 back with a time of 57.22 in the
triumph against Florida Atlantic…Placed third in the 200 fly (2:02.39) in the
win vs. LSU…Recorded a career mark (10:05.24) in the win over Indian River
State College by winning the 1,000-yard freestyle…Took fourth out of 30
swimmers in the 400 IM (4:20.83) at the Georgia Tech Invite, while placing
seventh in the 200 fly (2:02.50)…Finished third in the 200 back (2:02.65) and
fourth in the 400 IM (4:22.40) in the double-dual meet vs. Michigan and
Stanford…Took second in the 100 back (56.86), 100 fly (57.06) and 400 IM (4:22.54)
in the double-dual meet vs. Arkansas and Kansas.
2008-09: A 2009 CSCAA Scholar All-American that
was additionally named to the 2009 SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll…An NCAA
qualifier in the 400 IM, 200 fly & 200 back…Finished 40th in the
400 IM (4:16.49) and 200 fly (2:02.06) and 44th in the 200 back
(1:57.23) at the 2009 NCAA Championship meet in College Station, Texas…Helped
the Gators in claiming their 17th SEC Championship title in Auburn,
Ala., swimming a career-best 200-yard back (1:54.89), finishing 11th
overall…Additionally finished eighth overall in the 400 IM (4:17.62) on the
third day of SEC competition…Swam a total of 10 meets for UF her freshman
campaign…Had a career-best day against Tennessee, finishing third in the
200-yard fly (1:59.20), an NCAA provisional mark, and second in the 200-yard IM
(2:01.33), both season and career-best marks…Established season and career-best
marks in three other duals during 2008-09, including a seventh-place finish in
the 1000 free (10:13.11) against Virginia, clocked a best 57.56 in an
exhibition of the 100 fly against FAU, also claiming first in the 200 back
against the Owls, and rounded out the dual meet season with a 4:11.89 victory
swim in the 400 IM against IRSC/FGCU.
Prior to Florida: A 2006 NCSA All-Star
team member…A high school swimming Academic All-American…The 2007 San Diego CIF
Division I Champion in the 100 back…An AP Scholar…Coached by Richard Contreras
at Torrey Pines.
