National/International Competition: Competed at the 2011
ConocoPhillips National Championships in Palo Alto, Calif., touching in a
personal-best 2:03.82 in the 200 Free to finish 112 out of 232 competitors…Swam
at the 2009 U.S. Open in Federal Way, Wash. … Clocked a 2:19.89 in the
200-meter back to place 54th overall, placed 67th
(2:07.31) in the 200 free and checked in at 80th in the 100-meter
back (1:05.84) at the ’09 U.S. Open…A National Qualifier.
At Florida
2011-12: Named to the 2012 SEC Academic Honor
Roll…Swam to a third- and fourth-place finish against Tennessee in the 500
(4:51.93) and 200 free (1:48.24), respectively…Against Auburn, finished 7th
in the 50m free with a personal-best 28.60 effort and eighth in the 100m free
(1:00.79)…Finished second in the 500 free (4:46.48) and fourth in the 200 free
(1:52.46) in the win over FAU…At the Georgia Tech Invitational, finished 20th
with a 17:21.15 personal-best effort in the 1,650 free, 23rd in the
500 free (4:55.77) and 24th in the 200 free (1:51.99)…In the
double-dual victory over Michigan and Stanford, swam to a ninth place finish in
the 1,000 free (10:24.06), and helped lead the 200m freestyle relay team swim
the sixth quickest mark on the day…Touched seventh in the 2000 free (1:52.90)
against FSU…Against top-ranked Georgia, stopped the clock at 2:10.36 in the
200m free to finish eighth out of all competitors.
2010-11: Selected as a 2011 CSCAA Division I
Scholar All-America Honorable Mention…A member of the 2011 SEC Academic Honor
Roll…Captured three victories in the win over Indian River State College with
personal-best marks in each event finishing the 1,650-yard free in 16:58.51,
hitting a NCAA “B” cut time of 4:51.00 in the 500 free and recording a
season-best 24.02 split in her leg of the victorious 200 FR…Finished third in
the 200 free with a personal-best and NCAA “B” cut (1:48.80) in Florida’s
victory over No. 10 Tennessee…Took third in the 1,000 free, touching the wall
in 10:22.37, for the women’s first program victory over Georgia…Won the 200
free (1:49.93), captured third in the 500 free and took home second as a member
of both the 400 MR and 800 FR at the Big Al Open…Finished fourth as a member of
the 200 FR at the All Florida Invitational.
2009-10: A 2010 SEC Academic Honor Roll
selection…Competed in eight meets for the Gators…Finished third in the 200-yard
free (1:53.08) in the win over Florida Atlantic…Took third in the 200-yard
backstroke (2:05.21) and fifth in the 200 free (1:54.34) in the win over Indian
River State College…Swam a career-best 51.92 in the 100 free against Michigan
and Stanford… Finished fifth in the 100 back (58.06) in the double-dual meet
vs. Arkansas and Kansas.
2008-09: Named to the 2009 SEC Freshman Academic
Honor Roll for her work in the classroom…Achieved four season-best marks at the
2009 Princeton Invite…Finished third in the 200 back (1:59.30), fourth in the
200-yard free (1:49.84), 100-yard back (55.68) and 10th in the 50
free (23.90), all season-best times…Additionally contributed in all relays,
placing first as a member of the 400-yard medley relay (3:42.89), second as a
member of the 200-yard free (1:32.80) and 200-yard medley (1:43.00) relays and
third in the 800 free relay (7:25.29) in Princeton…Swam in nine meets total for
the Gators her freshman campaign…Finished third in the 200 back (2:05.22) and
fourth in the 100-yard back (57.38) against South Carolina…Also took fourth in
the 100 back in the win over Florida State (58.18)…Placed second in the 200
back (2:04.39) and third in the 100 back (59.07) at home against FAU…Closed out
the dual season with a third-place finish in the 200 free (1:53.40) against
IRSC/FGCU.
Prior to Florida: Team Captain of the
Cocoa Beach Squad for the 2007-08 season…Team MVP both junior and senior years
of high school…Placed third at the Florida State
meet in the 100 back…A high school All-American…Additionally a member of
National Honor Society in high school.
Club: Member of the Daytona Beach Swimming team,
coached by Steve Lochte.
