National/International Competition: Competed in the 2004 Grand Prix Charlotte, UltraSwim meet in the 50 free (28.43), 100 free (1:01.88), 200 free (2:11.03), 400 free (4:37.17) and as a member of the 400 FR squad (4:03.13) … Finished third in the 200 free (1:51.01), fourth in both the 50 free (24.58) and 100 free (52.78), as well as first in the B final of the 500 free (4:55.93) at the 2004 Florida Swimming Spring Senior Championships … Competed at Southern Sectional meets in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004 … Competed at the 2002 Charlotte UltraSwim meet.

2004-05: Academic All-SEC honoree … Set or bettered three career marks … Set a career mark in the 1,000 free (10:16.85) en route to a top-10 finish at the Speedo Championships (3/17), also finished seventh in the 200 free, 12th in the 500 free and in the top 45 in both the 50 and 100 free events … Posted fourth-place finishes in the 200 and 1,000 free events against Miami (1/8) … Established a career mark in the 1,650 free (17:46.27) in a 12th-place effort at the Miami Invitational (1/7) … Set a career mark in the prelims of the 200 fly against Georgia Tech with a 2:12.57 and finished 11th in the 100 free (11/19-21) … Swam the anchor leg of the first-place 800 FR team and helped the 200 FR quartet to an eighth-place finish against the Yellow Jackets (11/19-21).
