National/International Competition: Swam the prelims of the 200-meter breaststroke at the 2001 World Championship Trials...Was a member of the 400-meter medley relay team that finished ninth with a time of 4:20.59 in the finals, and finished 34th in the finals of the 200-meter breaststroke (2:38.71) in addition to competing in the preliminary heats of the 100-meter breaststroke at the 2000 U.S. Open ...At the 2000 U.S. Olympic Team Trials, competed in the 100- and 200-meter breaststroke preliminary events...Qualified for Senior Nationals at the age of 14.
