National/International Competition: Competed in the 800m freestyle preliminary event at the 2000 U.S. Olympic Team Trials... selected to train in Colorado Springs at the 1995 U.S. Swimming Distance Camp...

1999-2000: Competed in the 1,500-meter freestyle at the NCAAs...earned All-America honorable mention accolades after placing 16th in the 1,500-meter freestyle...placed seventh in the 1,650-yard freestyle at SECs with a time of 16:36.85...also swam in the 500-yard free and 400-yard individual medley events...has the team's second fastest time in the 1,000-yard freestyle... her time in the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:36.85) ranked 22nd in the country ...

1998-99: Was one of six swimmers to represent UF at the 1999 NCAA Championships...finished 21st in the 1650 free (16:45.72)...came in eighth in the 1650 free at the SEC Championships, while placing 13th in the 500 free (4:53.48) and 17th in the 400 IM (4:30.17)...was the runner-up in the 1000 free at the Tennessee meet, in a season-best time of 9:58.26... touched in second in the 1650 free in the team win over then-No. 9 Texas...

1997-98: Finished 29th in the 1650 free (16:57.95) and 43rd in the 500 free (4:55.21) at NCAAs...claimed fourth in the mile (16:34.96) and seventh in the 500 free (4:52.05) - both in personal-best times, while also finishing 23rd in the prelims of the 400 individual medley (4:30.71) at the SEC Championship meet...Club: Member of the Miami Metro Aquatic Club and coached by Kirk Peppas...

High School: A 1997 graduate of Gulliver Prep...Competed at the Florida High School State Championships every year since seventh grade...district champion in the 200- and 500-yard free every year since eighth grade...conference champion in the 200- and 500-free as a junior and senior...honorable mention All-American...holds the Youth Fair 500 free record...also played water polo...swam for Gulliver Prep and Miami Metro Aquatics under Kirk Peppas...

Personal: Born Sharon Mae Rzadkowolsky on May 10, 1979, in South Africa... daughter of Anna and Cesare Rzadkowolsky... brother, Ilan, swam at Harvard... majoring in health science education.
