National/International Competition: Swam in the finals of the 800-meter freestyle (8:51.56) and the 200-meter backstroke, in addition to swimming the lead-off leg of the 400-meter medley relay team that finished ninth at the 2000 U.S. Open...competed in the 200m- and 400m freestyle preliminary events at the 2000 U.S. Olympic Team Trials...helped the U.S. win a silver medal in the 4x200 meter freestyle relay at the 1999 Pan American Games...member of the 4x200 meter relay team that placed first in the 1999 Spring Nationals...finished ninth in the 400-meter freestyle (4:16.72)...placed 12th in the 1997 spring nationals in the 200 free...Came in 16th in the 200 free at the 1998 summer nationals (2:02.30)...is a three-time competitor in the U.S. Open...

1998-99: Earned four All-America honors...recorded a fifth-place finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle in a career-best time of 16:20.58 at the NCAA Championships...that time gave her the sixth spot on UF's all-time performers list...finished seventh in the 500-yard freestyle (4:45.22) to claim ninth-place on UF's all-time list...touched in 26th in the 200 free (1:49.31)...swam the third legs of the 400- and 800-yard freestyle relays...recorded three collegiate-best times in three freestyle events at the SEC Championships...touched second with an NCAA automatic time of 4:45.41 in the 500 free...her time earned her ninth-place on Florida's all-time performances list...her fourth-place 1,650 free finish (16:27.15) placed her eighth on the all-time performance list...

High School: A 1998 graduate of Severna Park HS...is the Maryland State record holder in the 200-meter freestyle and the 400 free...achieved Olympic trial cuts in the 200 and 400 freestyle events...named the Maryland swimmer of the year in 1996 and 1997...
