National/International Competition:  Named to the U.S. Swimming Open Water Women’s National and All-American teams...won the 1998 Women’s 10 K Open Water National Swimming Championships...junior national champion in the 500 and 1650 free in 1992...earned Rookie of the Meet honors at 1992 Summer Senior Nationals...was ranked first in her age group in the 200 fly, 800 free, 1000 free and 1650 free in 1992...Prior to Florida:  A transfer from Southern California...did not compete in 1998-99...1997-98:  Had a season-best time in the 500 free (4:53.90) at the Pacific-10 Championships, finishing 14th...had the fourth-best time on the team in the 1650 free, and placed 11th in the event at the Pac-10...1996-97:  Competed in two events at the NCAAs, taking 26th in the 1650 free and 41st in the 500 free...placed eighth in the 1650 free, 13th in the 500 free and 15th in the 400 IM at the Pac-10 Championships...team was national champions...
