  • Fourth in the 400-yard individual medley (4:13.95), fifth in the 200 IM (1:59.89), seventh in the 200 breast (2:18.38) and 10th in the 200 fly (1:59.99).

National/International Competition:

Competed at the 1996 U.S. Olympic Trials, finishing 28th in the 400-meter IM (5:03.80)...finished 12th in the 200 IM (2:20.93) and 16th in the 400 IM (4:57.00) at 1996 Senior Summer Nationals...claimed three medals at the 1995 U.S. Olympic Festival - 400 medley relay (gold), 200 IM (silver) and 400 IM (bronze)...at the same meet, placed fourth in both the 200 back and 800 free relay...finished second in the 200-yard breast and fifth in the 200 fly at the 1995 Junior Nationals...placed third in the 100 free and eighth in the 100 back at the 1993 Junior Nationals...1992 Junior National champion in the 100-meter fly, while taking sixth in the 200 fly.

NCAA Championships:

1998 - Finished 14th in the 200 IM (2:01.46) and 16th in the 400 IM (4:22.64), while also swimming on the 14th-place 800 free relay for three All-America honorable mention awards. 1997 - Reached the finals of the 400 IM, placing sixth (4:17.03), while also leading off the ninth-place 800 free relay to earn two All-America honors...also finished 19th in the prelims of the 200 IM. 1996 - Earned four All-America honorable mention accolades, placing 10th in the 200 IM (2:02.01) and 11th in the 400 IM (4:19.38), as well as anchoring the 10th-place 400 free relay (3:25.08) and leading off the preliminary 200 medley relay (1:45.16), which took 14th in the finals.

SEC Championships:

1998 - Placed sixth in the 400 IM (4:18.69) and seventh in the 200 back (2:00.76), while also swimming on the third-place 800 free relay and fourth-place 400 medley relay...named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll. 1997 - Added one more SEC title to career total, swimming third leg on the winning 800 free relay (7:18.16)...was just out-touched in both individual medley events, taking runner-up honors in the 200- (1:59.89) and 400 IM (4:13.95) both then-personal-best times...also anchored the third-place 400 medley relay (3:44.28) and swam second leg on the fifth-place 400 free relay (3:25.94). 1996 - Set a pool record in winning the 400 IM (4:15.72), while also taking third in UFs sweep of the 200 IM (2:01.68) and fourth in the 200 fly (2:01.13)...finished fourth in the individual high point competition with 51 out of 60 possible points, as well as swimming on the first-place 800 free relay which set a pool record time of 7:21.61.

High School:

A 1995 graduate of La Cueva High School...Four-time New Mexico state champion, winning the 100 back and 200 IM in 1995 and the 50- and 500 free in 1993...200 IM NISCA National High School champion, while earning runner-up honors in the 100 back in 1995...broke New Mexico state records over 50 times...holds New Mexico state records in the 100 back, 100 fly, 50 free and 200 IM...helped La Cueva High School to state championship title in 1995...named New Mexico High School Swimmer of the Year in 1993 and 1995...competed for La Cueva High and Lobo Aquatic Club under Jim Nickell.
