SEC Championships: Placed third and seventh in the 400-yard individual medley (3:49.94) and 500-yard freestyle (4:25.78) C-Final events… Finished 14th in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a time of 15:16.65… Placed sixth in the 500-yard freestyle at the Georgia Tech Invitational in 4:24.79… Placed third in the 100-yard breaststroke in a dual meet at Kentucky with a time of 58.60 seconds… Competed in multiple events at the Pinch A Penny All Florida Invitational and notched his best finish in the A-Final of the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:04.29… Honors: 2015 SEC Academic Honor Roll.
SEC Championships: Placed ninth in the 1,650-yard freestyle (15:10.17), 15th in the 500-yard freestyle (4:23.03) and finished 17th in the 400-yard individual medley in a time of 3:50.90… All three of his times at the SEC Championships met the NCAA ‘B’ standard time… Posted one individual win in regular season and invitational competition… Honors: 2014 SEC Academic Honor Roll.
SEC Championships: Finished 17th in the 400-yard individual medley (3:48.78), 26th in the 500-yard freestyle (4:23.94) and 31st in the 1,650-yard freestyle (15:42.37)… Recorded his first win as a Gator in a dual meet against Florida Atlantic, as he placed first in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:05.87… Notched a seventh-place in his first meet as a Gator, as he clocked a time of 59.04 seconds in the 100-yard breaststroke at the All-Florida Invitational.
Prior to Florida:
Trained with the Swim Fort Lauderdale Club coached by Dave Gibson… Named a Scholastic All-American at Cardinal Gibbons…Father, Richard also swam at Florida… Chose Florida over USC and Texas… His reasons for his choice include UF having a world-class coaching staff, top-tier academics and unbeatable team chemistry… He also has a love for The Gator Nation.
