Competed in four events at the 2014 Phillips 66 National Championships where he recorded one personal-best time and placed eighth in the 200-meter breaststroke… Placed eighth in the 200 breast (2:16.96) and 10th in the 100 breast (1:02.31) at the 2013 US National Championships…Competed at the 2012 USA Olympic Team Trials in the 200 breast and 400 IM… Participated in the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials where he recorded personal bests in the 100 and 200 breast events in Omaha, Neb.… Captured one gold and two silver medals at the 2010 Junior Pan-Pacific Championships… Placed 14th in the finals of the 200 breast at 2009 U.S. Nationals; his time was the second-fastest in American history by anyone under the age of 17… Competed at FINA-Arena World Cup meets in Berlin and Stockholm in 2009… Qualified for the 2008 Olympic Trials entering his sophomore year of high school… Four-time Junior National Champion… Holds the national age-group record for ages 13-16 in the 200 breast.
NCAA Championships: Earned four All-American honors as he placed 10th in the 400-yard individual medley in a personal-best time of 3:41.24, 16th in the 100-yard breaststroke in 53.04 and he was a member of two All-American relay teams… SEC Championships: Finished fourth in the 400-yard individual medley (3:43.60), fifth in the 200-yard breaststroke (1:55.01) and sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke (53.11)… Collected eight individual wins and was a part of four first-place relay teams throughout the regular season in dual meets and invitational competition… Honors: Four-time All-American.
NCAA Championships: Captured three All-America honors as he placed sixth in the 200-yard breaststroke (1:53.79 – school record), 14th in the 100-yard breaststroke (53.20) and he was a member of the 400-yard medley relay team that finished seventh (3:08.16)… SEC Championships: Earned his first SEC title with a win in the 200-yard breaststroke as he swam a personal-best time of 1:54.13… In addition, Elliott placed sixth in both the 100-yard breaststroke and the 400-yard individual medley... Collected multiple individual wins and top-5 finishes at dual meets throughout the regular season… Honors: Three-Time All-American… SEC Champion (200-yard breaststroke).
NCAA Championships: Earned his first two All-American honors of his career as a member of the 200-yard and 400-yard medley relay teams… Individually, Elliott was the Gators highest finisher in both the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke races with times of 53.76 (personal best) and 1:56.65, respectively… SEC Championships: Elliott made two championship final appearances where he placed third in the 200-yard breaststroke (1:55.75) and sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke (54.12)… His efforts earned him SEC All-Freshman Team honors… Five-time SEC Male Freshman of the Week following his efforts at the All-Florida Invitational, against Georgia, at the Georgia Tech Invitational, Classic at SMU and against Tennessee… Debuted at the All-Florida Invitational, winning three individual events – the 100-yard breaststroke (55.64), 200-yard breaststroke (1:59.06) and the 400-yard individual medley (3:50.96)… Honors: Two-time All-American… SEC All-Freshman Team… Five-time SEC Male Freshman of the Week.
